“…And You Have No Need For Anyone To Teach You…” (1 John 2: 27) [Follow-Up]

This is a follow-up post to “…And You Have No Need For Anyone To Teach You…”

Have any of us, while reading the first three chapters of The Book of Acts (if we have ever bothered to read the Word for ourselves), considered why the Lord had allowed His initial true Church, His Body, to be persecuted by the heathens, to be broken up and scattered throughout the known world at that time? And going even further, have any of us considered why the major city churches mentioned throughout the new testament (Antioch, Philadelphia, Laodicea, Smurna, etc) had all disintegrated by the end of the 1st century? If the Lord had wanted His Church, His Body, to remain as large city churches, then why did he allow them to be broken up and scattered? Is our Lord weaker than his enemy, Satan? Of course not! The Lord allowed His Church, His Body, to be scattered throughout the known world so the Gospel might be spread to all nations of the world.

But I also believe that the true Church, the true Body of Christ, was never intended to become a worldly organization that resembles fallen man’s corrupt way of doing business! The “church,” today, amounts to nothing more than 3000 + small businesses and corporations that don’t pay taxes (come to think of it, the “church” is truly like American corporations, since American corporations pay no taxes also!) The false “church” the world knows today began almost two-hundred years after the true Church of Christ (the ecclesias: the gatherings), which Paul had established, deserted the Lord, and Paul, and fell apart:

15You are aware of the fact that ALL WHO ARE IN ASIA turned away from me, among whom are Phygelus and Hermogenes. 16The Lord grant mercy to the house of Onesiphorus, for he often refreshed me and was not ashamed of my chains; 17but when he was in Rome, he eagerly searched for me and found me— 18the Lord grant to him to find mercy from the Lord on that day—and you know very well what services he rendered at Ephesus. (2 Timothy 1)

Note that many of the city churches, beyond the Greek, were in Asia!

The “church” the world knows today began in Rome and was founded by a pagan, Roman emperor, Constantine. This “church” was the work of Satan, and it was accomplished through the fallen nature of man, which drives his need for political/social control and power. This “church” had and still has nothing whatsoever to do with the first-century ecclesias the Lord had established through the Apostle Paul. Read the first three chapters of The Book of Acts, and see how the true Church, the true Body of Christ, is described, and then tell me I’m wrong:

42They were (believers) continually devoting themselves to the apostles’ teaching and to fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayer.

43Everyone kept feeling a sense of awe; and many wonders and signs were taking place through the apostles.

44And all those who had believed were together and had all things in common;

45and they began selling their property and possessions and were sharing them with all, as anyone might have need.

46Day by day continuing with one mind in the temple, and breaking bread from house to house, they were taking their meals together with gladness and sincerity of heart,

47praising God and having favor with all the people. And the Lord was adding to their number day by day those who were being saved. (Acts 2)

How often do you, or anyone else in your “church,” devote yourself to the Word of God, fellowship, in its true sense, and prayer, not just for you and family but for others also? Do you even know the person sitting next to you in that pagan pew? Would you sell all you own so that none of the people in your “church” would be homeless, without food and clothing, or without proper medical care? You know the answer! The combined wealth of this dead religion you call “Christianity,” and its ungodly denominations and non-denominations (FACTIONS), the things you refer to as “church,” could, but never will, make sure that no person in this country, and probably the entire world, would ever be homeless, without food and clothing, or without proper health care again. But, instead of this happening, most of you are “far-right-conservatives” who cry out, when confronted with the financial crisis the peoples of this world are experiencing, “Let them die!” or “Get a job, ya lazy bum!”

Woe to you, HYPOCRITES, liars and frauds! Woe to you who seek after man’s religion about God on Sunday morning, for 45 minutes, and walk around the rest of the week as though you are pious and righteous men and women. Hypocrites! Fools!

If this offends you, then I am beside myself with joy! You need to be offended, and you need to repent, to turn away, from your religious/political stupor and seek the forgiveness and counsel of the Lord and His Spirit! Come out of the deadness of this false religion about God and begin to live His Way, His Truth, His Life! But I digress.

Satan counterfeits everything the Lord brings into existence. But Satan’s greatest counterfeit of all is the religion referred to as Christianity, the religion born out of Roman paganism. A religion that is now divided into 3000 + denominations and non-denominations throughout the world, none of which truly represent the Father and His Christ!

So, if you go to a building on Sunday mornings where there is a steeple, an alter, an American flag (idolatry), candles and candle sticks (idolatry), a crucifix (more idolatry), and a man or woman wearing robes and “teaching and/or preaching the word of God,” then you are taking part in nothing more than pagan ritualism and idolatry, the pagan traditions of Christianity that make void the Word of God. What you are taking part in is anything but the Way, Truth and Life of our Lord. As was the case with the temple in Jerusalem, after the Hebrew leaders had blasphemed the Spirit of God, the Lord nor His Spirit is in this pagan, ritualistic building (“church”) you have been indoctrinated into believing is the true Church, the true Body of Christ!

Here's the real fruit of the Christian Religion!

1Then God spoke all these words, saying,

2“I am the LORD your God, who brought you out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of slavery.

3“YOU SHALL HAVE NO OTHER GODS BEFORE ME.

4“You shall not make for yourself AN IDOL, or ANY LIKENESS (crucifixes, crosses, statues of “saints” = idolatry) of what is in heaven above or on the earth beneath or in the water under the earth (flags, patriotic oaths, etc). 5“YOU SHALL NOT WORSHIP THEM OR SERVE THEM; for I, the LORD your God, am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers on the children, on the third and the fourth generations of those who hate Me, 6but showing lovingkindness to thousands, to those who love Me and keep My commandments. (Exodus 20)

22Then a demon-possessed man who was blind and mute was brought to Jesus, and He healed him, so that the mute man spoke and saw. 23All the crowds were amazed, and were saying, “This man cannot be the Son of David, can he?” 24But when the Pharisees heard this, they said, “This man casts out demons only by Beelzebul the ruler of the demons.”

25And knowing their thoughts Jesus said to them, “Any kingdom divided against itself is laid waste; and any city or house divided against itself will not stand. 26“If Satan casts out Satan, he is divided against himself; how then will his kingdom stand? 27“If I by Beelzebul cast out demons, by whom do your sons cast them out? For this reason they will be your judges. 28“But if I cast out demons by the Spirit of God, then the kingdom of God has come upon you. 29“Or how can anyone enter the strong man’s house and carry off his property, unless he first binds the strong man? And then he will plunder his house.

The Unpardonable Sin

30“He who is not with Me is against Me; and he who does not gather with Me scatters.

31“Therefore I say to you, any sin and blasphemy shall be forgiven people, but blasphemy against the Spirit shall not be forgiven. 32“Whoever speaks a word against the Son of Man, it shall be forgiven him; but whoever speaks against the Holy Spirit, it shall not be forgiven him, either in this age or in the age to come. (Matthew 12)

1Then some Pharisees and scribes came to Jesus from Jerusalem and said, 2“Why do Your disciples break the tradition of the elders? For they do not wash their hands when they eat bread.” 3And He answered and said to them, “Why do you yourselves transgress the commandment of God for the sake of your tradition? 4“For God said, ‘HONOR YOUR FATHER AND MOTHER,’ and, ‘HE WHO SPEAKS EVIL OF FATHER OR MOTHER IS TO BE PUT TO DEATH.’ 5“But you say, ‘Whoever says to his father or mother, “Whatever I have that would help you has been given to God,” 6he is not to honor his father or his mother.’ AND BY THIS INVALIDATED THE WORD OF GOD FOR THE SAKE OF YOUR TRADITION. 7“You hypocrites, rightly did Isaiah prophesy of you:

8‘THIS PEOPLE HONORS ME WITH THEIR LIPS,
BUT THEIR HEART IS FAR AWAY FROM ME.

9‘BUT IN VAIN DO THEY WORSHIP ME,
TEACHING AS DOCTRINES THE PRECEPTS OF MEN.’” (Matthew 15)

For the sake of your denominational or non-denominational TRADITIONS, you have invalidated the Word of God. In vain, you worship God, since you teach and preach the precepts (the doctrines, theology and dogma) of your particular brand of the Christian religion: your “church,” your denomination or non-denomination, your social and business club!

Wake up, sleeper! Come out of this religious deadness and into the Life the Lord has prepared for you! Don’t be like the Hebrews of Jesus’ day, who stood by while listening to their apostate, evil religious leaders, and not be ready for the second return of Christ in great power and glory. This time, neither man’s religion nor government will overcome the judgment and wrath that this evil world rightly has coming to it! This is still the age of grace, the age of God’s favor, but I believe His patience is wearing thin, and this will be the last time that His wrath will be poured out. If you doubt this, then look around you and consider the natural disasters that have plagued humanity for the last 5 or 6 years: the tsunami in Asia (2004), Hurricane Katrina (2005), the tsunami in Japan and the earthquakes, floods, and fires that have ravaged the US of A this year.

18For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men who suppress the truth in unrighteousness, 19because that which is known about God is evident within them; for God made it evident to them. 20For since the creation of the world His invisible attributes, His eternal power and divine nature, have been clearly seen, being understood through what has been made, so that they are without excuse. 21For even though they knew God, they did not honor Him as God or give thanks, but they became futile in their speculations, and their foolish heart was darkened. 22Professing to be wise, they became fools, 23and exchanged the glory of the incorruptible God for an image in the form of corruptible man and of birds and four-footed animals and crawling creatures. (Romans 1)

Wake up out of your democratic-capitalist/religious and idolatrous stupor and recognize that the Lord is warning us of impending disaster. Wake up or be unprepared for what is coming!

A New-Atheist Teaching in a Catholic School: For What Purpose?

This despicable poster, which so wrongly, and disgustingly, portrays our Lord and His sacrifice, sums up the arrogant, perverse nature and outrageous ignorance of the unregenerate mind (the “new”-atheist’s mind). Because of their total inability to sense the Spiritual realm that surrounds and confounds them, new-atheists are condemned to be the slaves of their own five senses and basic instincts: they are, in reality, little more than the animals they profess (without substantial evidence) to be their distant ancestors. This, perhaps, explains why new-atheists are such a tiny minority: 2.5% worldwide and 3-9% in the USA.

As anyone who reads this blog should know by now, I am not a fan of the Catholic church or its school system. But the following Pew Forum article forces me to side with the Catholics this time.

Iowa Catholic school fires teacher after Facebook survey indicates she doesn’t believe in God

A Catholic teacher from Fort Dodge has been fired because of a Facebook survey in which she said she did not believe in God.

Abby Nurre, 27, was hired last summer as an eighth- grade math teacher at St. Edmond Catholic School. In August, she responded to a Facebook members’ poll in which she was asked whether she believed in God, miracles or heaven.

In response, Nurre answered, “No.” Her answers then became part of her Facebook autobiography page, which was accessible only to her designated “friends.”

In November, Nurre posted a comment to an online discussion forum, Atheist Nexus. In her post, she provided a link to a New York Times article that, as she described it, indicated the government had spent $2.3 million on prayer research in the past 10 years.

Five weeks later, she was called to the office of Monsignor Kevin McCoy and handed a letter informing her that she was suspended for making “atheist statements in a public forum.”

McCoy barred Nurre from school grounds. A few days later, without discussing the matter with Nurre, the school’s board of directors fired her for violating a policy that prohibits employees from advocating “principles contrary to the dogmatic and moral teaching of the church.” (emphasis added)

In my opinion, this woman is merely attempting to create a story-line in which she ultimately becomes the “innocent victim of religious injustice”.

Why would any person, openly denying the existence of God, want to teach in a Catholic school system, where a religion about God is at the heart of the entire curriculum? Why wouldn’t a new-atheist, instead, want to teach in the public schools, where they already rule the entire system and more positions are available?

I can venture a pretty good guess, perhaps this woman wanted to teach at a religious school solely for political purposes: to indoctrinate her students in new-atheism and/or get fired for her ungodly beliefs and make a political stink? I believe it was for the latter reason that this new-atheist sought a teaching position in a religious school. In my estimation, and I could be wrong, this woman has simply gotten what she wanted: a chance to bring new-atheism to the forefront, and to show how she and her brothers and sisters are (in her opinion) being “discriminated against” in this society. This woman is most likely nothing more than a new-atheist “undercover-operative” seeking to stir up another “separation of church and state”/anti-religious frenzy.

{A new-atheist’s claim of there being no God is as much a statement of faith as the Christian’s belief of there being One. The new-atheists will rail on, vehemently, when faced with this more than obvious truth, but the fact remains that new-atheism is nothing more than another religion: a religion that believes and hopes in the non-existence of God and with a more than radical and fanatical faith. New-atheists have no substantial evidence to support their belief in no-god, whereas Christians have creation itself to explain and justify their belief and faith in God: the universe exists and so do we. The universe is more substantial as evidence for there being a Supernatural Creator than claiming, with the use of fairy-tales (unsubstantiated hypotheses), that the universe and human beings came about through mere chance and mutation (“The Big Bang”, “Natural Selection”): this “reasonable” and “enlightened” (faith-based) version of creation, in my estimation, verges on mental and emotional illness. As any honest scientist will verify, if any still exist, there has never been anything proven to be created out of nothing.}

The new-atheists, agnostics and pagans cry out for separation of church and state, and yet they don’t mind seeking to have the judicial system and government systematically, and covertly, remove the rights of those who believe in the Christ. The new-atheist will claim they despise all religious faiths, but, when it gets down to it, they almost always direct their attacks at the sons and daughters of the One True God.

{Warning, the following may be considered “intolerant”! The reason new-atheists attack Christianity more often than other religions is simple: the Truth of our Lord sticks in the crawl of their god, Satan, and, thus, Satan urges them to attack the sons and daughters of the Living God. Satan knows that all other religions are false, since he helped, with the aid of fallen human beings, to bring them into existence. The new-atheist, needless to say, is totally oblivious to this reality!}

The majority of people can REASON well enough to sense there is a realm beyond the physical or material, a realm where the supernatural exists and rules (evil and good). The REASON man has believed in a supernatural being and Spiritual realm, from the beginning, is due to the fact that the existence of God is evident in the creation. But evidently a small percentage of human beings are so learning disabled, so blind and deaf, they cannot truly sense what surrounds them:

For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men who suppress the truth in unrighteousness, 19because that which is known about God is evident within them; for God made it evident to them. 20For since the creation of the world His invisible attributes, His eternal power and divine nature, have been clearly seen, being understood through what has been made, so that they are WITHOUT EXCUSE. (Romans 1)

…in whose case the god of this world has BLINDED THE MINDS of the unbelieving so that they might not see the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God. (2 Corinthians 4: 4)

I may be wrong about this woman’s motives, but if I am, she must be either extremely naive, confused or not too bright. Why would any new-atheist, in their right mind (if that’s a possibility), believe they could teach in a religious school system without, sooner or later, being exposed, confronted and held accountable? Perhaps this woman is at a Spiritual crossroad in her life and uncertain of what she believes? If this is the case, then let me say that I am truly sorry for jumping to a false conclusion! You know, a “false conclusion” like, “I can’t see, hear, smell or touch Him, so, therefore, there is no God.”

The fact is, this woman agreed to the terms of a contract to teach in a Catholic school, and, therefore, she is bound by that contract. She must have known that she would be held accountable for her actions outside of the classroom, just as any other contracted teacher, whether in a public, private or parochial school, knows their actions outside of the classroom can adversely affect their career longevity. This is why I believe this woman knew exactly what she was doing.

“A Right to Religious Beliefs” or a True Faith in Christ: Which One do We Desire Most?

The Cost of True Faith, Perhaps?

{Please note: I am writing these posts solely for people who sense something lacking in the religious-traditions-of-man “churches” they attend. I’m writing to people who sit questioning their reasons for attending “church services” every Sunday morning. I’m writing to people who are seeking to know the Lord in a more personal way than just sitting around and listening to someone else tell them about Him. I’m writing to people, like me, who long to hear the Spirit’s leading, so that they may find the Lord’s perfect will for their lives and those around them.

For those people, on the other hand, who find their contentment in the man-made religious status quo, my posts will probably be of little or no value: my posts might even appear, in the eyes of some, to be heretical or even blasphemous in nature.

For all those people, however, who are looking for something beyond that which has failed the Lord, for eighteen hundred years, now (Christendom), I welcome you to share this difficult, but blessed, road with me.}

In the Book of Acts, we find that Peter and the other apostles had been arrested and brought before the Sanhedrin. The reason for their arrest had been their persistence in proclaiming the resurrected Jesus as Lord and Savior of all mankind, which the Hebrew leaders had, once before, warned them against preaching. So after the Sanhedrin had deliberated, this second time, we are told that Peter and the apostles were warned, beaten and released, once again. Here is the apostle’s response to this persecution:

…So they went on their way from the presence of the Council, REJOICING that they had been considered worthy to suffer shame for His name. 42 And every day, in the temple and from house to house, they kept right on teaching and preaching Jesus as the Christ. (Acts 5)

American religionists, please take note: Peter and the other apostles weren’t rejoicing because they had been released from captivity, or because their political rights had been upheld before the Sanhedrin, or because God gave them that new camel they were in need of, the apostles were rejoicing because they had been considered worthy to suffer shame for His name. The apostles were rejoicing because they had been found faithful in the eyes and heart of their Lord and Savior.

What was the result of the apostles persecution and subsequent rejoicing? The Life that the Christ had exhibited was being proclaimed throughout the entire civilized world: not the man-made doctrines, or the written text (the bible), but the Truth, the Life, the redemptive sacrifice of Christ was being proclaimed to the known world.

Today, thanks to the deadness of pagan Christendom, and, to some extent, the text it created to enhance and enforce its religious/political power (the bible), the only truth proclaimed of Christ is that which apostate Christendom will allow, according to its ungodly, self-supporting doctrines and dogma.

The following Pew Forum article points to the let-us-remain-free-get-rich-and-be-happy “religious” mentality that has replaced true faith in most of Americanized Christianity today.

Don’t forget the right to worship freely

While we Americans largely take our freedom to practice religion for granted, a recent report from the Pew Research Center found that 70 percent of the world’s people – that’s about 4.7 billion people – live in countries with high levels of religious restrictions. All of us – believers, agnostics and atheists – have a stake in the protection of religious liberties. Because respect for human rights is such a reliable measure of the trustworthiness of nations, it is in our interest to see that they are protected. When President Obama fills the vacant position of ambassador-at-large for international religious freedom, he should make the changes to the office needed to make the appointee’s voice heard by those who need to listen.

While the headlines concerning the just-completed parliamentary elections in Iraq have been largely positive, the country’s Christian minority has faced a vicious and persistent undercurrent of religiously based persecution. About 275 Christians have been murdered by Islamists since 2003, many of the victims in Mosul, in an attempt to cleanse the “Christian triangle” of Christians. The recent violence has caused hundreds more Christian families to flee (emphasis added)

The following quote sums up my reason for writing this post:

“All of us – believers, agnostics and atheists – have a stake in the protection of religious liberties. Because respect for human rights is such a reliable measure of the trustworthiness of nations, it is in our interest to see that they are protected.”

What possible connection, of any real kind, can there be between a Christian and an atheist/agnostic? As believers in Christ, our “interests” should be solely focused on the eternal things of our Lord, not on temporal earthly issues like protecting “religious liberties”. This kind of temporal worldly focus might be fine for the pagan or atheist/agnostic, but it should never be the focus of a Christian.

"Has it been twenty minutes yet?"

In the good old U.S. of A., where political, economic, social and “religious” hypocrisy run rampant, faith is never about God and His Christ. Americanized faith is only placed in a worldly “life”, filled with an abundance of “liberty”, in which most Americans (religious and atheistic) “pursue” their own personal brand of “happiness”; a self-obsessed “happiness” they must have, no matter how high the cost to themselves or others around them.

And yet, when asked about their “religious belief system”, most “God fearing” Americans will proclaim their faith in God and His Son; and then they will go on to add that their country was ordained by God, as were their “rights” to political freedom, life and “happiness”. They make these overt religious claims without any knowledge, whatsoever, of what the bible truly says; the very book they love to thump on every Sunday morning. Their faith is based on the doctrines (“teachings”) of their particular “church affiliations” (denominations), where the Spirit of God is drowned out by mediocre singing (“worship”) and the lifeless sermons of apostate reverends, pastors, ministers and priests. These “men of God” were all “drawn to the ministry” and had found it to be ultimately good for making a living, but really inadequate for a true relationship with their Creator (google “burned out ministers”).

Political “rights” and worldly “happiness” have nothing to do with a true faith in Christ! The bible tells us that we are strangers and exiles in this world, and that our true citizenship and home is in heaven:

All these died in faith, without receiving the promises, but having seen them and having welcomed them from a distance, and having confessed that they were strangers and exiles on the earth. (Hebrews 11: 13)

And you were dead in your trespasses and sins, 2in which you formerly walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, of the spirit that is now working in the sons of disobedience. 3Among them we too all formerly lived in the lusts of our flesh, indulging the desires of the flesh and of the mind, and were by nature children of wrath, even as the rest. 4But God, being rich in mercy, because of His great love with which He loved us, 5even when we were dead in our transgressions, made us alive together with Christ (by grace you have been saved), 6and raised us up with Him, and seated us with Him in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus, 7so that in the ages to come He might show the surpassing riches of His grace in kindness toward us in Christ Jesus. 8For by grace you have been saved through faith; and that not of yourselves, it is the gift of God; 9not as a result of works, so that no one may boast. 10For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand so that we would walk in them. Hopefully, our Spirit will confirm in us the Truth of these scriptures.

Pope urges repentance in homily

ROME — In his most direct reference to the sexual abuse crisis that has reached the Vatican, Pope Benedict XVI said Thursday that it was necessary for Christians to “repent” in light of “the attacks of the world, which speaks to us of our sins.”

But in an approach typical of the tough-minded yet media-averse theologian, Benedict aimed his message directly at the church, offering his remarks in an off-the-cuff homily at a small, untelevised Mass at the Vatican.

“I have to say that we Christians, even in recent times, have often avoided the word ‘repentance,’ which seems too harsh,” Benedict said at a Mass later broadcast on Vatican Radio.

“Now under the attacks of the world, which speaks to us of our sins, we see that the ability to repent is a grace, and we see how it is necessary to repent, that is, to recognize what is wrong in our life,” he added. (emphasis added)

Ah yes, the political maneuvering and posturing of the Vatican. Just like most or all politicians, the pope has found the key to addressing a difficult issue, and that key is to never, under any circumstance, truly address a difficult issue. I take it, then, from the pope’s statement, “I have to say that we Christians… have often avoided the word repentance”, that he is simply avoiding the addressing of the real issue at hand (the pedophile priests of Catholicism). If this is not the case, then the pope is truly delusional, since what he is proposing, by his statement, is either 1) only Catholics are Christians, or 2) the blame for pedophile priests falls on all believers in Christ (all [non] denominations), not just his pagan-inspired religion. Out of these two scenarios, my educated guess would be the pope believes, in his warped reality, that only Catholics are Christians, and he’s simply attempting, through the use of the term “Christian”, to shift some of the guilt and blame to all believers who are not Catholic: the best of both worlds, I’m sure, to this manipulative apostate hierophant!

One major problem I see with the pope’s religious/political maneuvering, here, beyond the fact that he’s seeking to dodge the issue at hand, and if he truly is attempting to shift the blame, is that all other denominations and non-denominations of Christendom are merely the twisted off-springs of pagan Catholicism. Therefore, if these other denominations are in some way responsible in the eyes of God, also, then the blame and penalty will still fall, first and foremost, on the pope and his idolatrous religion; where the seeds of this horrible sin were planted some fifteen to eighteen hundred years ago. The fault for pedophilia in the priesthood lies, primarily, in the priests themselves, and the pagan ritualism of Catholicism: a pagan ritualism which promotes celibacy, which can then beget homosexuality, which can then lead to pedophilia and other perversions of the flesh. Just as any kind of unchecked evil begets more evil, so the evil of unchecked perversion begets more perversion.

If I am mistaken here, and the pope was referring to Catholics only, then I apologize. But if I’m right in my interpretation and sense of what the pope was intending here, then just let me say that I take no responsibility, whatsoever, for the sins of any clergyman, be they Catholic or Protestant, since I take no part in this form of apostate religious practice!

The Apostle Paul tells us,

…it is good for a man not to touch a woman. 2 But because of immoralities, each man is to have his OWN WIFE, and each woman is to have her OWN HUSBAND. 3 The husband must fulfill his duty to his wife, and likewise also the wife to her husband. 4 The wife does not have authority over her own body, but the husband does; and likewise also the husband does not have authority over his own body, but the wife does… 7 Yet I wish that all men were even as I myself am (celibate, unmarried). However, each man has his own gift from God, one in this manner, and another in that.

8 But I say to the unmarried and to widows that it is good for them if they remain even as I. 9 But if they do not have self-control, let them marry; for it is better to marry than to burn with passion. (1 Corinthians 7)

In the article below is yet another example of what happens when “religious” men turn away from the leading of the Spirit of God, and turn aside, instead, to their own man-made doctrines filled with pagan mysteries and ritualism: “holding to a form of godliness, although they have denied its power; Avoid such men as these.” (2 Timothy 3)

Cardinal Schönborn says celibacy partly to blame for clerical sex abuse

A senior cardinal has called for priestly celibacy to be re-examined in the light of sex scandals sweeping the Roman Catholic Church. Cardinal Christoph Schönborn, conservative Archbishop of Vienna and a protégé of the Pope, shocked the Vatican by suggesting that it should carry out an “unflinching examination” of causes of the scandal.

These included “the issue of priests’ training”, he wrote in his archdiocese magazine, “the question of priest celibacy and the question of personality development. It requires a great deal of honesty, both on the part of the Church and of society as a whole”.

The Vatican said the remarks had been misinterpreted. “Priestly celibacy is a gift of the Holy Spirit,” Cardinal Claudio Hummes, prefect of the Congregation for the Clergy, said at a theological convention on priestly fidelity. (emphasis added)

The Perverse Results of Pagan Celibacy!

Celibacy is never mentioned in the Word of God as being “a gift of the Holy Spirit” (see 1 Corinthians 12). This is merely one of many pagan distortions perpetrated by Catholicism, as G.H. Pember exposes here:

As time went on, the teachings of the mystic Jezebel continued to be unfolded. In 341, Athanasius and his companions fled for refuge to Rome, and, soon after they had settled there, introduced the Monastic orders [asceticism], which had been already established in the deserts of the Thebaid. Subsequently, they were instituted in Gaul by Martin of Tours, and in Africa by Augustine.

Damasus and Jerome [Popes] had encouraged the movement in every possible way, and especially by teaching that celibacy and virginity were the highest of Christian virtues. And Pope Siricius-384-398 A.D.-who succeeded Damasus, supplemented their work by issuing a Decretal in which he insisted on the celibacy of all the Catholic clergy.

Pember, in his other three volumes, explains that the Catholic priesthood was not established on the basis of the Levitical priesthood (Hebrew), but was, instead, fashioned after the priests of Isis, as well as many other pagan entities.

Thus we can imagine the evil doors that have been opened, and remain open, because of this pagan, idolatrous form of religiosity! Is it any wonder that priests and nuns, starved of a normal relationship with a wife and husband, and caught up in pagan ritualism, would turn to perverse acts to satisfy their sensual cravings? As Paul makes clear in his statement to the Corinthians, “It is better to marry than to burn with passion.” The pope would claim that Paul’s statement, “I wish that all men were even as I myself,” is an imperative from the Lord to remain celibate. But that claim would merely be a fleshly protest, which, in the end, was put forth to validate, and continue, the pagan ways of the Roman priesthood and nunnery: a perverse way marred not just by pedophilia, but also by homosexuality and adultery. Just ask any priest or nun who has fled from this apostasy, and they will tell you, if they’re willing to be honest, of the sordid things that take place in, and around, a “convent” and “rectory”.

When paganism is at the heart of our “religious” worship, then the Lord will have no part of it; no matter how good the intention be on the part of those involved in the process. The Lord cannot accept worship when our spiritual service is connected to the manipulative, lying works of Satanic paganism. Ignorance of this Truth will not be an excuse on that soon coming day of judgment: it is for us to know what is of the Lord and what is not!

UC Irvine’s Francisco Ayala wins Templeton Prize

As a young doctoral student in the 1960s, Francisco Ayala was surprised to learn that Charles Darwin’s theory of evolution appeared to be less widely accepted in the United States than in his native Spain, then a profoundly conservative and religious country.

Ayala brought a unique sensibility to the topic, because he had been ordained as a Catholic priest before undertaking graduate studies in evolution and genetics. What he believed then, and has spent his career espousing, is that evolution is consistent with the Christian faith.

On Thursday, Ayala, an acclaimed researcher at UC Irvine, won the 2010 Templeton Prize, awarded annually in recognition of achievements in affirming spirituality. The prize is worth $1.6 million, which Ayala said he would give to charity.

In announcing the award, Dr. John M. Templeton Jr., president of the John Templeton Foundation, praised Ayala’s research, which has focused on evolutionary genetics, as well as his inquiries into fundamental questions of life. “Ayala’s clear voice in matters of science and faith echoes the foundation’s belief that evolution of the mind and truly open-minded inquiry can lead to real spiritual progress in the world,” Templeton said.

In a telephone interview from Washington, where he was accepting the award, Ayala said he believed he was receiving it for his scientific work and for the “very important consequence of making people accept science, and making people accept evolution in particular.”

Ayala, 76, has been at the forefront of efforts to defend Darwin’s theory from attacks by Christian fundamentalists, many of whom favor the notion of intelligent design, which is consistent with a literal reading of the biblical creation story and holds that the world is too complex to have evolved without oversight by a supreme being. (emphasis added)

Before I continue, let’s take note of this particular fragment: “[the] VERY IMPORTANT CONSEQUENCE of making people accept science, and making people accept evolution in particular.” Now let’s break this down a bit: “MAKING PEOPLE ACCEPT science, and evolution in particular,” has a “very important consequence.” Note the verb “Making” in this fragment:

The sixth definition of Make:

a. To cause to act in a specified manner: Heat makes gases expand.
b. To Compel: made him quit.

The first definition of Compel:

1. To Force, drive, or constrain: Duty compelled the soldiers to volunteer for the mission.
2. To necessitate or pressure by Force; exact: An energy crisis compels fuel conservation. See synonyms at force.

So, according to the dictionary, to Make someone do anything is to Compel, or Force, them to do so. In this light, then, we can see that this apostate priest (“scientist”) has merely set out to Make us accept, with the help of our children’s public education system, the universities, the government, and the liberal and conservative press corp, what most of us see as nothing more than the delusional rantings of the unregenerate atheist: another mere attempt by the God hating unregenerate to Force everyone else into believing, or having faith, in evolution (Darwinism).

The goal, then, of the postmodern-Darwinian atheists, and their apostate pawns (like this priest), isn’t to convince us of the physical evidence for the evolution of man, since there isn’t any substantial proof, nor will there be. No, the Darwinian atheists’ real goal is, instead, to Make us, to Compel us, to Force us, to accept and BELIEVE (have faith) in a unsubstantiated, at best, “scientific” hypothesis.

So, in reality, this award wasn’t really given to this priest out of respect and gratitude; since no self respecting postmodern-Darwinian atheist would ever admit to having respect for any person who believes in a Creator. No, this award was given to this gullible, apostate, and deluded, priest for the sole purpose of manipulating more than 1.1 billion Catholics, and as many or more pew-squatting protestants, into believing this lie perpetrated by Satan; the same Satanic lie, in essence, that enticed Eve to eat from the forbidden fruit:

“You surely will not die! 5 “For God knows that in the day you eat from it your eyes will be opened, and you will be like God, knowing good and evil.” (Genesis 3)

This priest, like the Vatican he serves, has sold out the Word of God, the Christ (the Logos), and has turned an apostate eye and mind to the bad fruit of this unregenerate world system and it’s moronic, mediocre lies: a system that serves, with or without knowledge, the enemy of our Lord and Savior, Satan. This whole article is just another example of the nominal “church’s” falling away (apostasy), and the Lord’s deluding influence upon it, which is beginning to herald in the seventieth week of Daniel, and the revealing of the man of lawlessness, the anti-Christ:

But the Spirit explicitly says that in later times some will FALL AWAY from the faith, paying attention to deceitful spirits and doctrines of demons, 2 by means of the hypocrisy of liars seared in their own conscience as with a branding iron… (1 Timothy 4)

Now we request you, brethren, with regard to the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ and our gathering together to Him, 2 that you not be quickly shaken from your composure or be disturbed either by a spirit or a message or a letter as if from us, to the effect that the day of the Lord has come. 3 Let no one in any way deceive you, for it will not come unless the apostasy (the great falling away) comes first, and the man of lawlessness is revealed, the son of destruction, 4 who opposes and exalts himself above every so-called god or object of worship, so that he takes his seat in the temple of God, displaying himself as being God. 5 Do you not remember that while I was still with you, I was telling you these things? 6 And you know what restrains him now, so that in his time he will be revealed. 7 For the mystery of lawlessness is already at work; only he who now restrains will do so until he is taken out of the way. 8 Then that lawless one will be revealed whom the Lord will slay with the breath of His mouth and bring to an end by the appearance of His coming; 9 that is, the one whose coming is in accord with the activity of Satan, with all power and signs and false wonders, 10 and with all the deception of wickedness for those who perish, because they did not receive the love of the truth so as to be saved. 11 For this reason God will send upon them A DELUDING INFLUENCE SO THAT THEY WILL BELIEVE WHAT IS FALSE, 12 in order that they all may be judged who did not believe the truth, but took pleasure in wickedness. We must come to understand that Darwinism isn’t a scientific endeavor, it is merely a proselytizing tool used by lost, lonely, and hate filled, atheists to draw more people down to their sordid and dark existence and beliefs: “Misery loves company!”

The True Church of Christ Does Not Exist To “Make The World A Better Place”! Part II

As the Lord had withdrawn from the Hebrew nation, when the pharisees and scribes blasphemed the Holy Spirit…

Then a demon-possessed man who was blind and mute was brought to Jesus, and He healed him, so that the mute man spoke and saw. 23 All the crowds were amazed, and were saying, “This man cannot be the Son of David, can he?” 24 But when the Pharisees heard this, they said, “This man casts out demons only by Beelzebul the ruler of the demons.”

25 And knowing their thoughts Jesus said to them, “Any kingdom divided against itself is laid waste; and any city or house divided against itself will not stand. 26 “If Satan casts out Satan, he is divided against himself; how then will his kingdom stand? 27 “If I by Beelzebul cast out demons, by whom do your sons cast them out? For this reason they will be your judges. 28 “But if I cast out demons by the Spirit of God, then the kingdom of God has come upon you. 29 “Or how can anyone enter the strong man’s house and carry off his property, unless he first binds the strong man? And then he will plunder his house.

“He who is not with Me is against Me; and he who does not gather with Me scatters.
31 “Therefore I say to you, any sin and blasphemy shall be forgiven people, but blasphemy against the Spirit shall not be forgiven. 32 “Whoever speaks a word against the Son of Man, it shall be forgiven him; but whoever speaks against the Holy Spirit, it shall not be forgiven him, either in this age or in the age to come. …so the Lord had also withdrawn from the nominal “church”, Christendom, when she (the harlot), some nineteen-hundred years ago, began to reject the Way, Truth, and Life, of her Lord and Savior and turned aside, instead, to pagan-inspired worship and ritualism (gnosticism). This apostate transformation would be completed, then, when the nominal “church” turned fully away from her Lord and, instead, turned to Rome (Constantine): the nominal “church” had thus become a Godless, state-run world-power which served Satan, and his world system:

Then one of the seven angels who had the seven bowls came and spoke with me, saying, “Come here, I will show you the judgment of the great harlot who sits on many waters… (Revelation 17: 1)

After these things I heard something like a loud voice of a great multitude in heaven, saying,

“Hallelujah! Salvation and glory and power belong to our God; 2 BECAUSE HIS JUDGMENTS ARE TRUE AND RIGHTEOUS; for He has judged the great harlot who was corrupting the earth with her immorality, and HE HAS AVENGED THE BLOOD OF HIS BOND-SERVANTS ON HER.” 3 And a second time they said, “Hallelujah! HER SMOKE RISES UP FOREVER AND EVER.” 4 And the twenty-four elders and the four living creatures fell down and worshiped God who sits on the throne saying, “Amen. Hallelujah!” (Revelation 19)

"Woe to you, Scribes and Pharisees, Hypocrites..." (Matthew 23)

The pharisees and scribes, in their desire to keep their political/religious power, had blasphemed against the Spirit of Jehovah: the Hebrew leaders had accused Jehovah’s Spirit of producing evil through His Son’s miraculous works. So, from this point forward, until his crucifixion and resurrection, Jesus only spoke in parables his disciples could discern. In essence, the Hebrew leaders had caused Jehovah to turn away from His chosen nation, because of their rejection of His Christ. Therefore, His Son, from that time forward, would turn to serve, and save, the gentile nations, and raise up His Body (His True Church), His Bride:

This was to fulfill what was spoken through Isaiah the prophet:

18 “BEHOLD, MY SERVANT (Jesus) WHOM I HAVE CHOSEN;
MY BELOVED IN WHOM MY SOUL is WELL-PLEASED;
I WILL PUT MY SPIRIT UPON HIM,
AND HE SHALL PROCLAIM JUSTICE TO THE GENTILES.
19 “HE WILL NOT QUARREL, NOR CRY OUT;
NOR WILL ANYONE HEAR HIS VOICE IN THE STREETS.
20 “A BATTERED REED HE WILL NOT BREAK OFF,
AND A SMOLDERING WICK HE WILL NOT PUT OUT,
UNTIL HE LEADS JUSTICE TO VICTORY.
21 “AND IN HIS NAME (Jesus) THE GENTILES WILL HOPE.” (Matthew 12)

And the disciples came and said to Him, “Why do You speak to them in parables?” 11 Jesus answered them, “To you it has been granted to know the mysteries of the kingdom of heaven, but to them (Hebrews) it has not been granted. 12 “For whoever has, to him more shall be given, and he will have an abundance; but whoever does not have, even what he has shall be taken away from him. 13 “Therefore I speak to them in parables; because while seeing they do not see, and while hearing they do not hear, nor do they understand. 14 “In their case the prophecy of Isaiah is being fulfilled, which says,

‘YOU WILL KEEP ON HEARING, BUT WILL NOT UNDERSTAND;
YOU WILL KEEP ON SEEING, BUT WILL NOT PERCEIVE;
15 FOR THE HEART OF THIS PEOPLE HAS BECOME DULL,
WITH THEIR EARS THEY SCARCELY HEAR,
AND THEY HAVE CLOSED THEIR EYES,
OTHERWISE THEY WOULD SEE WITH THEIR EYES,
HEAR WITH THEIR EARS,
AND UNDERSTAND WITH THEIR HEART AND RETURN,
AND I WOULD HEAL THEM.’

16 “But blessed are your eyes, because they see; and your ears, because they hear. 17 “For truly I say to you that many prophets and righteous men desired to see what you see, and did not see it, and to hear what you hear, and did not hear it. (Matthew 13)

Almost the same thing would happen with the Church of the Christ. Constantine the Great, Emperor of Rome, would take Christianity and morph it into a state-operated, pagan-based “religion” (Catholicism): although the corruption of the Christ’s (true) Church had begun almost two centuries earlier, while most of the Apostles were still living. G.H. Pember gives us some historic insight into how this corruption of our Lord’s Way, Truth, and Life came about:

“…Constantine the Great, became Emperor of the countries [Roman territory] to the west of the Alps. The [Christian] persecutions were still raging intermittently in other parts of the empire; but Constantine did not sanction the cruel treatment of the Christians. For his own countries, Britain and Gaul, were full of professed members of their faith, and his legions were recruited from them. Moreover, for reasons which have been stated elsewhere, he seems to have conceived the idea of establishing Christianity as the religion of the Empire; but was anxious, at the same time, to do so without causing offence either to pagans or Christians…

…How should he [Constantine] persuade the [Roman] pagans to join a community [Christian] which they had been accustomed to despise and maltreat, which was, for the most part, made up of obscure persons, plebeians, and slaves, whose places of worship were mean, indeed, if compared with the grand temples of the pagans, whose ministers displayed no gorgeous vestments like to those worn by the pagan priests, and whose services were usually dull and uninteresting.

This difficulty he proposed to surmount by bribes of state-offices and large sums of money to the upper classes [patricians]; and by suitable gifts to others. And, as a specimen of his mode of action, Gibbon tells us, that, in one year, no less than twelve thousand men, together with a proportionate number of women and children, were baptized into the Christian Church at Rome, to each of whom a white robe and twenty pieces of gold had been promised by the Emperor. Such a patronage, of course, caused multitudes of insincere persons to flock into the Church: the real believers were swamped, and the Bishops and Presbyters [elders] elected by nominal Christians.

But while Constantine thus essayed to make the Christian Community respectable in the eyes of the world, and to swell the number of its adherents, he also endeavoured to impart to its Churches and services an external magnificence and splendid scenic effects, which should, not merely rival, but even surpass, the pagan temples and their ceremonies. He gave to the Christian bishops, for conversion into churches, several imposing buildings called Basilicas, which had been used for Royal Courts of Justice, and at the same time was lavish in his gifts of money for the elaborate decoration of the new places of worship, and for the provision of superb vestments for the clergy. And soon the Christian Bishop, exalted on his lofty throne in the apse of the Basilica, clad in costly vestments, surrounded on a lower level by his presbyters, and with a marble alter, adorned with gold and gems, on a still lower level in front of him, had no reason to fear comparison with the Flamen Dialis, or with any other of the great Pagan priests in Rome… (emphasis mine)

These weren’t the only pagan changes made to the Church of our Lord and Savior. No, not at all! Satan didn’t stop with the destruction of just the external, he also went after the most important feature of Christianity, the internal, the Word of God, as Pember goes on to descibe:

Of course, the preaching, also, was changed at this time, as well as the buildings, the robes, and the congregations: it became a mere display of oratory and flowery language; for manifestly one could not utter narrow or severe sentiments before a fashionable and aristocratic audience, which, with very few exceptions, were not really Christian at all. Moreover, there was the duty of praising the Emperor, the giver of the beautiful things which appealed to them on every side. And so, the Church became, practically, a place of entertainment, and people went to it as to the theatre, and signified their approval of the preacher by a clapping of hands.

Pember goes on to show how Constantine, then, introduced the pagan festivals into his new state-operated “religion”, pagan festivals that would become the “Christian” holidays we still celebrate today: Christmas and Easter, just to name a few. Pember also dispels the false historic notion that Constantine was a “born again” believer. Pember sites that the Emperor wasn’t baptized, nor did he make a profession of his faith in Christ, until some twenty years after his supposed revelation in the sky; just before his death. Constantine was no more a Christian than Adolph Hitler: both of these men merely used Christianity to further their own worldly political desires.

Thus we can begin to see how this false “church”, built on Roman paganism, could promote such a scripturally-incorrect notion as its mission is to “save the world for Christ!”

Peter: The “Stone”! Christ: The “Rock”! The Pope: Apostate Man!

Catholics have been coerced into believing, for almost fifteen hundred years, now, that the pope, through some form of scripturally-incorrect ancient-mysticism, is the living and breathing incarnation of the Apostle Peter. This, of course, is merely an apostate fallacy, a horrible manipulation of the following scripture (and several more):

Now when Jesus came into the district of Caesarea Philippi, He was asking His disciples, “Who do people say that the Son of Man is?” 14 And they said, “Some say John the Baptist; and others, Elijah; but still others, Jeremiah, or one of the prophets.” 15 He said to them, “But who do you say that I am?” 16 Simon Peter answered, “You are the Christ, the Son of the living God.” 17 And Jesus said to him, “Blessed are you, Simon Barjona, because flesh and blood did not reveal this to you, but My Father who is in heaven. 18 “I also say to you that you are Peter, and upon this rock I will build My church; and the gates of Hades will not overpower it. 19 “I will give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven; and whatever you bind on earth shall have been bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth shall have been loosed in heaven.” (Matthew 16)

To uncover how this scripture has been totally corrupted by Christendom, we must, first, have some understanding of the original languages used. Early on in His earthly ministry, Jesus had told Simon (Peter),

“You are Simon the son of John; you SHALL BE (in the future) called Cephas” (which is translated Peter). (John 1: 42)

The name “Cephas” is the Aramaic word for “stone”, or “small rock”. A stone or rock small enough to be thrown, or even as large as a boulder, but movable.

The name “Peter” is drawn from the Greek word “petros”, which also has the same meaning as cephas.

But the word “rock”, which Jesus says He will build His Church on, is from the Greek word “petra”, which means a rock formation, or a slab of rock that cannot be moved. In other words, a rock sufficient for use as the foundation of a building or house:

So then you are no longer strangers and aliens, but you are fellow citizens with the saints, and are of God’s household, 20 having been built on THE FOUNDATION of the apostles and prophets, Christ Jesus Himself being THE CORNER STONE (ROCK), 21 in whom the whole building, being fitted together, is growing into a holy temple in the Lord, 22 in whom you also are being built together into a dwelling of God in the Spirit. (Ephesians 2)

And coming to Him as to a living stone which has been rejected by men, but is choice and precious in the sight of God, 5 you also, as living stones, are being built up as a spiritual house for a holy priesthood, to offer up spiritual sacrifices acceptable to God through Jesus Christ. 6 For this is contained in Scripture:
“BEHOLD, I LAY IN ZION A CHOICE STONE (ROCK), A PRECIOUS CORNER stone,
AND HE WHO BELIEVES IN HIM WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED.”
7 This precious value, then, is for you who believe; but for those who disbelieve,
“THE STONE WHICH THE BUILDERS REJECTED,
THIS BECAME THE VERY CORNER stone,”
8 and,
“A STONE OF STUMBLING AND A ROCK OF OFFENSE”;
for they stumble because they are disobedient to the word, and to this doom they were also appointed. (1 Peter 2)

Peter was given the revelation of Who Jesus truly was by God the Father, and he was also the first to speak this great Truth; which would ultimately lead to his being the first Apostle to share the Gospel, on, and after, the day of Pentecost. But the ROCK that Jesus said He would build His (TRUE) Church on was, in reality, Himself, as the Word of God shows so clearly! Believers, then, are the stones (cephas, petros), like Peter, and the other Apostles, who are built upon the Foundation which is the Christ (the Cornerstone). And thus we, the stones built on the Chief Cornerstone (petra: Rock foundation), become the Lord’s (true) Church, His Body, His Bride!

Besides, if Jesus had been suggesting that Peter was the ROCK, then why didn’t the Lord state, instead, “I also say to you that you are Peter, and upon this rock, [Peter], I will build My church; and the gates of Hades will not overpower it, [and there will always be a Peter on earth to rule in my place, until I come again]“? It was the revelation given to Peter, by the Father, that was the ROCK, not Peter himself!

Vatican City: What does this "city" have in common with the Christ?

The Lord Jesus never stated, or even suggested, that any of His twelve disciples would ever rule over a worldly-organized “religious” institution. What the Lord did say to His disciples, in terms of their earthly commission, was this:

“All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth (not Peter). 19 “Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit, 20 teaching them to observe all that I commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” (Matthew 28)

and this,

“You know that the rulers of the Gentiles lord it over them, and their great men exercise authority over them. 26 “It is not this way among you, but whoever wishes to become great among you shall be your servant, 27 and whoever wishes to be first among you shall be your slave; 28 just as the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give His life a ransom for many.” (Matthew 20)

As we can clearly see from these two scriptures, the disciples’ commission was to serve others, not rule over them. And this is our commission also!

Therefore, there is no scriptural backing for the papal election being anything other than a man-made, and assigned, pagan-oriented “church office”: the pope (hierophant), in reality, is nothing more than a pseudo-religious politician leading his pseudo-religious political machine! The only view that the “holy see” has is the extravagant, and ungodly, wealth, and power, surrounding him in the Vatican!

Catholicism has replaced our Lord and Savior with pagan ritualism, including the worship of Mary (the earthly, and fallen, flesh and blood mother of Jesus, not a goddess), and a pagan hierarchy: the Vatican, the clergy, and dioceses, etc. Since Catholicism was the first state created, and operated, “church” (a worldwide “church”), every denomination since its inception has followed, in some form, the same ungodly pattern of “worship” and teaching: sanctuaries, alters, communion wafers, pagan doctrines, and hierarchy (clergy), which all amount to some form of idolatry.

If anyone will take the time to investigate, they will come to realize that the “offices” of pope, bishop, cardinal, and even priest, come from either Roman governmental, or pagan, tradition; as does every other aspect of Catholicism.

The spirit of anti-Christ is alive and well in all of Christendom: the nominal “church”. But in particular, it’s alive and well in pagan Catholicism, as the following Pew Forum article reveals.

Why some Americans mix Christianity, Eastern religions

Because she attends Catholic mass every Sunday and observes all the religious holidays of her faith, Angela Bowman may well exemplify the Latin root of the word “religion,” which is “to bind.”

But the Chicagoan also meditates several times each day and practices yoga every other week. She knows Catholicism, Hinduism, and Buddhism have contradictory elements but is unfazed by her multiple observances because, to her, “it’s all pretty much the same thing.”

“The biggest part of praying is opening yourself up to a connection with God, and I perceive clearing your mind in meditation as another form of receptivity,” says the 30-something textbook editor. Although she is a devoted Roman Catholic, she says she doesn’t “believe it’s the one true path and anything else is flirting with the devil.”

Ms. Bowman’s attitude tracks with those in a study released last month, which found that large numbers of AMERICA’S FAITHFUL do not neatly conform to the expectations or beliefs of their prescribed religions, but instead freely borrow principles of Eastern religions or endorse common supernatural beliefs. "Religion is all relative, man! Be cool!"

Angela Bowman (one of “America’s faithful”?) is bound by her “religious” beliefs alright, she is the living and breathing example of “carnal Christianity” (false Christianity). Ms. Bowman doesn’t believe that the Christ is the ONLY WAY to God, yet she professes to be a Christian. She is so confused, as are so many others, that she honestly believes she can follow and serve Buddha (a demon inspired “religion”) and the Lord at the same time; as Bowman states, “it’s all pretty much the same thing.” In her absolute Spiritual and intellectual ignorance (her “delusional” state), fostered by the apostate doctrines and ritualism of pagan Catholicism (Christendom), Ms. Bowman believes she has it (“religion”) all figured out, Spiritually. But, in Truth and reality, she is just another mere pawn, a “religious” fool of Satan. Ms. Bowman, like so many other religionists, has been blinded by the god of this age:

Therefore, since we have this ministry, as we received mercy, we do not lose heart, 2 but we have renounced the things hidden because of shame, not walking in craftiness or adulterating the word of God, but by the manifestation of truth commending ourselves to every man’s conscience in the sight of God. 3 And even if our gospel is veiled, it is veiled to those who are perishing, 4 in whose case the god of this world has blinded the minds of the unbelieving so that they might not see the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God. (2 Corinthians 4)

Ms. Bowman, like most politically-correct Americans today (relativists), is very “open-minded”: here is what scripture has to say about this “open-mindedness”, this cultural/”religious” relativism:

Beloved, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits to see whether they are from God, because many false prophets have gone out into the world. 2 By this you know the Spirit of God: every spirit that confesses that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is from God; 3 and every spirit that does not confess Jesus is not from God; this is the spirit of the antichrist, of which you have heard that it is coming, and now it is already in the world. 4 You are from God, little children, and have overcome them; because greater is He who is in you than he who is in the world. 5 They are from the world; therefore they speak as from the world, and the world listens to them. 6 We are from God; he who knows God listens to us; he who is not from God does not listen to us. By this we know the spirit of truth and the spirit of error. (1 John 4)

I solemnly charge you in the presence of God and of Christ Jesus, who is to judge the living and the dead, and by His appearing and His kingdom: 2 preach the word; be ready in season and out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort, with great patience and instruction. 3 For THE TIME WILL COME when they will not endure sound doctrine; but wanting to have their ears tickled, they will accumulate for themselves teachers in accordance to their own desires, 4 and will turn away their ears from the truth and will turn aside to myths (Buddhism, Hinduism, New Age relativism). (2 Timothy 4)

Well THE TIME HAS COME, and it’s here and now!

Ms. Bowman, of course, is most likely unfamiliar with these scriptures, or any other portion of the word of God. Like Bill Clinton, and most other escapees from the lunatic ward that was 1960s America, Ms. Bowman probably would claim that the word of God is “ambiguous”. She, like Bill Clinton and the others, confuses ambiguity with not having the Spirit; without the Spirit to lead us, we cannot discern the word of God, so without the Spirit the word will appear to be ambiguous:

“But the Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in My name, He will teach you all things, and bring to your remembrance all that I said to you. (John 14: 26)

Yet we do speak WISDOM among those who are MATURE; a wisdom, however, NOT OF THIS AGE NOR OF THE RULERS OF THIS AGE, WHO ARE PASSING AWAY; 7 but we speak GOD’S WISDOM in a mystery, THE HIDDEN WISDOM which God predestined before the ages to our glory; 8 the wisdom which none of the rulers of this age has understood; for if they had understood it they would not have crucified the Lord of glory; 9 but just as it is written,

“THINGS WHICH EYE HAS NOT SEEN AND EAR HAS NOT HEARD,
AND which HAVE NOT ENTERED THE HEART OF MAN,
ALL THAT GOD HAS PREPARED FOR THOSE WHO LOVE HIM.”

10 For to us God revealed them through THE SPIRIT; for the Spirit searches all things, even the depths of God. 11 For who among men knows the thoughts of a man except the spirit of the man which is in him? Even so the thoughts of God no one knows except the Spirit of God. 12 Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the Spirit who is from God, so that we may know the things freely given to us by God, 13 which things we also speak, not in words taught by human wisdom, but in those taught by the Spirit, combining spiritual thoughts with spiritual words.

14 But A NATURAL MAN (the unregenerate, pagan, and apostate believer) does not accept the things of the Spirit of God, for they are foolishness to him; and he cannot understand them, because THEY ARE SPIRITUALLY APPRAISED. 15 But he who is spiritual appraises all things, yet he himself is appraised by no one. 16 For WHO HAS KNOWN THE MIND OF THE LORD, THAT HE WILL INSTRUCT HIM? But WE HAVE THE MIND OF CHRIST. (1 Corinthians 2)

Satan loves the “open-minded” (especially the hypocritical, “open-minded” and “tolerant” religionists like Ms. Bowman, Bill Clinton, and the like), since there’s always loads of room, in these folks’ minds and hearts, for his disembodied spirits (demons) to move in and do their best work! The fruit of these demons’ work will be the messed up, Godless, and/or apostate, lives they produce: adulterers, liars, pedophiles, murderers, or even just plain old corporate criminals!

Just as the Hebrew nation offered up sacrifices to other gods (idolatry), and, in so doing, incurred the wrath of God, many modern “Christians” offer themselves up to other gods today (third-world and “new-age” demon-inspired religions, post-modernism, Darwinism, feminism), and they will, on the coming day of judgment, incur their just punishment: which will be, depending on Spiritual salvation (“being saved”), either loss of reward, or the same punishment as the pagan, the unregenerate, and Satan: the lake of fire.

“Behold, I am coming quickly, AND MY REWARD IS WITH ME, to render to every man ACCO0RDING TO WHAT HE HAS DONE. 13 “I am the Alpha and the Omega, the first and the last, the beginning and the end.”

14 Blessed are those who wash their robes, so that they may have the right to the tree of life, and may enter by the gates into the city. 15 OUTSIDE (of the New Jerusalem) ARE THE DOGS and THE SORCERERS and THE IMMORAL PERSONS and THE MURDERERS and THE IDOLATERS, and everyone who loves and practices lying (LIARS). (Revelation 22)

Then I saw a great white throne and Him who sat upon it, from whose presence earth and heaven fled away, and no place was found for them. 12 And I saw the dead, the great and the small, standing before the throne, and books were opened; and another book was opened, which is THE BOOK OF LIFE; and the dead were judged from the things which were written in the books, according to their deeds. 13 And the sea gave up the dead which were in it, and death and Hades gave up the dead which were in them; and they were judged, every one of them according to their deeds. 14 Then death and Hades were thrown into THE LAKE OF FIRE. This is THE SECOND DEATH, the lake of fire. 15 And if anyone’s name was not found written in THE BOOK OF LIFE, he was thrown into THE LAKE OF FIRE. (Revelation 20)

The lost folks on the “outside“, will consist of the unregenerate, the pagan, and those like Ms. Bowman, who chose to live an idolatrous spiritual life of convenience and hypocrisy; she had to have her worldly and spiritual cake, and eat it too, and soon her cake will turn and eat her up. These folks chose their heaven here and now, so they have no right to expect anything in the coming ages; except, that is, the judgment which will involve “loss of reward”, for the saved, and rejection, and the wrath of God, for the rest!

As if the ritualism of “holy water” wasn’t scripturally incorrect enough, the Catholic “church” will now have a better-than-faith-in-God way to make sure H1N1 is not spread through the use of its ungodly H2O.

In hand sanitizer we trust

Call it worship without worry: An Italian inventor has devised an electronic holy-water dispenser to reduce exposure to the H1N1 virus.

The device, already inspiring interest worldwide, uses an infrared sensor like those found in bathroom soap dispensers to squirt blessed water into parishioners’ hands. The inventor, Luciano Marabese, said he dreamed up the idea to preserve religious tradition in the face of the flu pandemic.

The high-tech creation underscores how the H1N1 virus is reshaping religious rituals as ministries struggle to spread the faith without spreading the flu. Houses of worship everywhere, including in Canada, are deploying inventive solutions to traditional rites.

At Runnymede United Church in Toronto, for example, communion bread last Sunday was served on toothpicks, like canapés. The servers didn’t wear white cloth gloves, but they did wear surgical gloves. (emphasis added)

As this article exposes, it isn’t just the Catholic “church” that has become Spiritually and mentally ill, it’s most or all of Christendom!

There is nothing holy except our Lord and Savior, the Father, the Spirit, and us, if we belong to the Lord! If we need toothpicks for the Lord’s supper, and “holy water” dispensers to have faith, then we have no faith. In fact, if we must sprinkle ourselves with mystical-magical H2O to have relationship with our Lord, then we are wasting our time, since He will have nothing to do with man’s “religious” ritualism and idolatry, up to and including the eating of a ritualistic and idolatrous wafer!

Wake up, you fast asleep in those adulteress pews of churchianity, before it’s too late!

“To the angel of the church in Laodicea write:

To hear, we must read and seek His word through the leading of His Spirit that indwells us, if we have the Spirit? Your priest or right-reverend isn’t the Spirit of God! Turn from the lie and seek the Lord, in TRUTH and SPIRIT:

Jesus said to her, “Woman, believe Me, an hour is coming when neither in this mountain nor in Jerusalem will you worship the Father. 22 “You worship what you do not know; we worship what we know, for salvation is from the Jews. 23 “But an hour is coming, AND NOW IS, WHEN the TRUE WORSHIPERS WILL WORSHIP THE FATHER IN SPIRIT AND TRUTH; for such people THE FATHER SEEKS to be His worshipers. 24 “God is spirit, and those who worship Him MUST WORSHIP HIM IN SPIRIT AND TRUTH.” (John 4)
