The Lord’s Wrath and the Conservative, Bible-Thumping Hypocrite

Congresswoman Michele Bachmann, a few weeks back, said Hurricane Irene was a judgment from God on the east coast, because of the fiasco over the debt crisis. Later, after receiving much grief, and making a public-spectacle of our Lord and Savior, Bachmann backpedaled on her statement by claiming she was “joking.”

It would seem to me, however, if the Lord is pouring out His wrath on the good old US of A, through His natural laws, that He’s not going after the liberal/atheist-leaning east coast, but, instead, the areas of the country where conservative-bible-thumping religionists reside: the deep south, the southwest and the Mississippi River valley.

Satan, according to the word of God, has been given temporary dominion over the political/economic systems of this world. But the earth still belongs to the Lord:

14“Behold, to the LORD your God belong heaven and the highest heavens, the earth and all that is in it. (Deuteronomy 10)

Over the past year, Americans have witnessed “record-breaking” floods in the Missouri and Mississippi River valleys, “record-breaking” outbreaks of tornadoes all throughout the south, an earthquake in Virginia (conservative/religious south), a drought that consumes the whole State of Texas and Oklahoma, as well as most of the Gulf states (south), and now wild-fires in Texas that threaten to consume a large portion of the state.

If we believe the Lord is still in charge of what the postmodern-atheist, and many lukewarm Christians, refers to as “mother nature,” then it would appear He is very unhappy with the areas of this country that claim to know Him, but use Him strictly as a magic-genie or political tool.

The Apostle Peter had this problem early on, and here is how the Lord responded to him:

21From that time Jesus began to show His disciples that He must go to Jerusalem, and suffer many things from the elders and chief priests and scribes, and be killed, and be raised up on the third day. 22Peter took Him aside and began to rebuke Him, saying, “God forbid it, Lord! This shall never happen to You.” 23But He turned and said to Peter, “GET BEHIND ME, SATAN! You are a stumbling block to Me; for YOU ARE NOT setting your mind on God’s interests, but man’s.” (Matthew 16)

Bachmann, and her hypocritical buddies on the conservative-right, may want to stay away from making predictions about what the Lord is and is not doing. Bachmann, and the like, should leave my Lord and Savior out of their disgusting and evil political dealings. Otherwise she, and many other pew-sitting bible-thumpers in this ungodly country, may experience the following from the Lord on that day of judgment in the future:

15“Beware of the false prophets, who come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly are ravenous wolves. 16“You will know them by their fruits. Grapes are not gathered from thorn bushes nor figs from thistles, are they? 17“So every good tree bears good fruit, but the bad tree bears bad fruit. 18“A good tree cannot produce bad fruit, nor can a bad tree produce good fruit. 19“Every tree that does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire. 20“So then, you will know them by their fruits.

21“Not everyone who says to Me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father who is in heaven will enter. 22“Many will say to Me on that day, ‘Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in Your name, and in Your name cast out demons, and in Your name perform many miracles?’ 23“And then I will declare to them, ‘I never knew you; DEPART FROM ME, YOU WHO PRACTICE LAWLESSNESS.’ (Matthew 7)

The Every-Four-Year Political-Bad-Joke from Hell!

E pluribus unum?

Once again, it is time for the end of the four-year-political-cycle from hell. A time when the blind-ignorant and patriotic middle-class and poor get their little flags out and, while waving them furiously, shout, moronically and obnoxiously, “USA, USA, USA…” These blind, willfully-ignorant middle-class and poor folks, evidently forgetting the total failure of the current political-savior, they voted into office four years ago, get all stirred-up, once again, in a patriotic frenzy, and, like the Pavlovian fools these mortals be, actively promote and support the next worthless political-savior who will fail them also; the next political ace-in-the-hole who, like his predecessor, will be owned and operated by the wealthy and powerful few (the elite). It’s hard to believe, but the American middle-class and poor, no matter how badly they’ve been treated, will, every four years, get all fired up to elect their next president; who, while carrying out the orders of the same old wealthy and powerful elite, will rape and pillage them once again. These common Joes mantra must be, “THANK YOU, SIR, MAY WE HAVE ANOTHER?” Ah yes, God bless America?

And even worse, the end of this four-year cycle now begins, in earnest, at the beginning of the third year of every administration. In other words, a new president, like Obama, has just two years out of four before he has to start turning his attention to being reelected. So, with a one term president, we actually get their full attention (yeah, right!) for two out of the four years they were elected to serve.

Allow me to put forth a guess as to why this political four-year-cycle operates this way:

Since the 1 to 5% wealth-and-power elite completely rule this country, they know, before the fact, who will be elected and what the new elected president will accomplish according to their will. Therefore, the entire presidential election process (congressional also), and four year term, in reality, is as worthless, politically, as the English Royals. The office of U.S. president has become nothing more than a figurehead position, much like Queen Elizabeth. The Queen is a revered tradition the English people don’t want to give up, but it is Parliament, and the wealth and power that controls it, that rules over England. So, too, is the case with the presidency of the U.S. of A.. The president is the figurehead (“the king”), for all intents and purposes, while congress (parliament) is the “representative ruling-body,” a ruling-body that “represents” the wealth-and-power elite (only), while “ruling” over “we the people” (“the mere subjects of the kingdom”).

Thus the wealth-and-power elite keep the tradition of the presidential four-year-cycle in place to placate “the subjects of the kingdom:” the American middle-class and poor. And since all is foreknown and predestined, according to the will of the wealth-and-power elite, there is no need for the president to have three or four years to fulfill his duties. This, therefore, is why, I believe, only two of the four years are spent actually attempting to make the president appear as though he is accomplishing something; actually, the president is accomplishing something, during these first two years, he’s doing what he’s told to do by the wealth-and-power elite.

This entire political Broadway extravaganza, in my opinion, is nothing but a hoax, a rigged cyclical-event accomplished with mirrors. We’ve simply been scammed, bamboozled, etc, etc…, and for years now! I would have to be the Lord Himself to know, for certain, what is fully happening in this corrupt political-process. Some of my opinions here, of course, are pure conjecture, but most of them are based on forty-plus-years of watching this four year cycle (joke) take place, what I’ve read and investigated, and how I, as well as my family and friends, have been ripped-off, time and time again, by this monotonous, manipulative and disgustingly corrupt (to the point of being criminal) routine.

And yet I know I am a tiny minority, which is still beyond my ability to comprehend. How can so many people be this asleep at the wheel, this blind, this gullible, this ignorant, when their lives are in such turmoil, financially: a financial turmoil caused by the very people they now invite into their lives to cheat and rob them once again?

I am not a political activist, nor do I promote political activism, but I will not take part, any longer, in a Godless and corrupt political-system that doesn’t represent me, my loved-ones, or the common people around me. I can make no sense out of chasing after a political deliverance, every three to four years, that will never come!

Note that Ron Paul finished a very close #2, so close, in fact, that he basically tied with Michele Bachmann. Also note that Rick Perry got a mere 718 votes, while Mitt Romney received only 567 votes. But this morning, on every news channel I’ve checked out, Ron Paul has been totally left out of the conversation. Here is the national news headline I’m hearing this morning: “Bachmann, Romney and Perry are the front-runners for the republican candidacy!”

Ron Paul (4,671 votes) finishes less than 200 votes behind Bachmann (4,823 votes), while Romney (567 votes) and Perry (718 votes) barely even register on the scale, and Ron Paul (4,671 votes) magically disappears. WHY? Because Ron Paul, out of all these idiots, is the candidate who makes the most political sense, which, by the way, isn’t saying much. Ron Paul is the one, out of all these candidates, who the wealth and power elite would have the most trouble controlling, and thus, even though THE PEOPLE of Iowa voted him a close second (4,671 votes), Ron Paul will not stand a chance, politically, of winning the republican nomination. And therefore, THE PEOPLE of Iowa will not be, once again, truly represented by the government that despotically rules over them!

Wake up, patriots (idolaters)! The system is rigged!

An American Conservative Religionist: Apostate Hypocrite

I rarely write about American political issues anymore, since America, as with the rest of this Godless world, is passing away (hopefully, sooner than later). But I heard the following apostate, and disgusting, news item yesterday, and I sensed a need to respond.

Glenn Beck, in case you didn’t know, is a “broadcast personality” on the Fox “News” Channel: the “holy grail” of the apostate, “religious”/political view of the far-right conservative (just as MSNBC [Keith Olbermann] is the “holy grail” for most Darwinian/postmodern/atheist left-wingers). Glenn Beck, as with most other American conservative religionists, is completely lost in a patriotic and capitalistic stupor: an apostate, idolatrous love of democracy, greed (capitalism), and the “American way” (self-everything). And because of his hypocrisy and idolatry, Mr. Beck, along with many of his “religious” comrades, has evidently been sent a heavenly precursor to the strong delusion the Apostle Paul speaks of in his epistle to the Thessalonians; which will ultimately be sent to all apostate hypocrites after the revealing of the mystery of lawlessness.

Let no one in any way deceive you, for it will not come unless the apostasy comes first, and the man of lawlessness is revealed, the son of destruction, 4 who opposes and exalts himself above every so-called god or object of worship, so that he takes his seat in the temple of God, displaying himself as being God. 5 Do you not remember that while I was still with you, I was telling you these things? 6 And you know what restrains him now, so that in his time he will be revealed. 7 For the mystery of lawlessness is already at work; only he (the Holy Spirit in us) who now restrains will do so until he is taken out of the way (the rapture). 8 Then that lawless one will be revealed whom the Lord will slay with the breath of His mouth and bring to an end by the appearance of His coming; 9 that is, the one whose coming is in accord with the activity of Satan, with all power and signs and false wonders, 10 and with all the deception of wickedness for those who perish, because they did not receive the love of the truth so as to be saved. 11 For this reason God will send upon them A DELUDING INFLUENCE so that they will believe what is false, 12 in order that they all may be judged who did not believe the truth, but took pleasure in wickedness. (2 Thessalonians 2)

Here is a current news item that deals with the latest example of Mr. Beck’s apostate, Spiritual and scriptural ignorance:

Conservative lawmakers and pundits already have many grievances against the Democratic health care reform plan, but Rep. Steve King of Iowa and Fox News personality Glenn Beck are adding one more to the list — the vote scheduled for Sunday.

Democrats are scrambling to get the bill to the president before leaving for Easter recess, prompting the House to schedule a vote for the bill this Sunday.

“They intend to vote on the Sabbath, during Lent, to take away the liberty that we have right from God,” King said on Beck’s radio program Thursday, the Hill reports.

Beck chimed in, “Here is a group of people that have so perverted our faith and our hope and our charity, that is a — this is an affront to God.” (emphasis added)

In my estimation, the only thing that is an “affront to God” in this article is Mr. Beck himself! Our Lord and Savior, much to the chagrin of Mr. Beck and cohorts, is not an American capitalist, nor does the Lord place any more stock in our hypocritical form of government than He does in atheistic communism: all forms of man’s corrupted government are an “affront to our Lord”, including a democracy. In fact, one of the signs of the end of this age is the common man ruling himself, or democratic rule (see G.H. Pember’s works)!

{Note: Paul’s statement that God instituted government for man’s sake is true. But Paul understood, as should we, that the Lord instituted government (kingdoms) so that man would not destroy himself. Man’s government, however, was always to be in submission to the commandments of God. Man’s governments today, however, not only refuse to follow the commandments of God, they, instead, in a very open, and arrogant way, even deny the existence of the Creator of this universe. Thus these earthly governments, including our own democratic form, are, in themselves, “an affront to God”; and, therefore, they make Mr. Beck’s claims of American’s “liberty coming from God” all the more spurious and lame.}

Have we ever really taken the time to consider, or even notice, how “religious” folk (conservative religionists), in this “one nation under God”, always seem willing to take part in the “religious” symbols that are not even mentioned in the “bible” (the Word of God), while, at the same time, ignoring the imperatives found there: scriptural imperatives written, through human vessels, by the Word of God Himself, the Christ? American religionists, and atheists alike, take great pains, and go to great expense, to observe “holidays” such as “Christmas” and “Easter”, and all the pagan ritualism associated with them. But neither the atheists, nor the hypocritical religionists, pay any attention, whatsoever, to the imperatives in the Word, the Truth, and the Life, which are the Lord:

‘YOU SHALL LOVE THE LORD YOUR GOD WITH ALL YOUR HEART, AND WITH ALL YOUR SOUL, AND WITH ALL YOUR MIND.’ 38 “This is the great and foremost commandment. 39 “The second is like it, ‘YOU SHALL LOVE YOUR NEIGHBOR AS YOURSELF.’ 40 “On these two commandments depend the whole Law and the Prophets.” (Matthew 22)

“Do not store up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moth and rust destroy, and where thieves break in and steal. 20 “But store up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust destroys, and where thieves do not break in or steal; 21 for where your treasure is, there your heart will be also. (Matthew 6)

Then Jesus said to His disciples, “If anyone wishes to come after Me, he must deny himself, and take up his cross and follow Me. 25 “For whoever wishes to save his life will lose it; but whoever loses his life for My sake will find it. 26 “For what will it profit a man if he gains the whole world and forfeits his soul? Or what will a man give in exchange for his soul? (Matthew 24)

What use is it, my brethren, if someone says he has faith but he has no works? Can that faith save him? 15 If a brother or sister is without clothing and in need of daily food, 16 and one of you says to them, “Go in peace, be warmed and be filled,” and yet you do not give them what is necessary for their body, what use is that? 17 Even so faith, if it has no works, is dead, being by itself. (James 2)

What is the source of quarrels and conflicts among you? Is not the source your pleasures that wage war in your members? 2 You lust and do not have; so you commit murder. You are envious and cannot obtain; so you fight and quarrel. You do not have because you do not ask. 3 You ask and do not receive, because you ask with wrong motives, so that you may spend it on your pleasures. 4 You adulteresses, do you not know that friendship with the world is hostility toward God? Therefore whoever wishes to be a friend of the world makes himself an enemy of God. (James 4)

Finally then, brethren, we request and exhort you in the Lord Jesus, that as you received from us instruction as to how you ought to walk and please God (just as you actually do walk), that you excel still more. 2 For you know what commandments we gave you by the authority of the Lord Jesus. 3 For this is the will of God, your sanctification; that is, that you abstain from sexual immorality; 4 that each of you know how to possess his own vessel in sanctification and honor, 5 not in lustful passion, like the Gentiles who do not know God; 6 and that no man transgress and defraud his brother in the matter because the Lord is the avenger in all these things, just as we also told you before and solemnly warned you. 7 For God has not called us for the purpose of impurity, but in sanctification. 8 So, he who rejects this is not rejecting man but the God who gives His Holy Spirit to you. Where is the celebration of all of this, the Lord’s Way, Truth, and Life, in this pagan oriented, hypocritical nation? We know why we don’t see these scriptures honored or celebrated in America: they don’t, in any way, afford any profit to the supposed “God fearing”, or even God hating, capitalist, nor are they socially acceptable, since the Lord (the Word of God) is not politically-correct, nor is He a relativist. The Lord’s Life and commandments are not, in any way, a viable, nor essential, part of “The Great American dream”, the great American lie and manipulation.

Pagan Ritualism on a Pagan Observance

Easter, like Christmas, and Sundays themselves, are the product of pagan Catholicism (pagan Christianity). You will not find one imperative written in the Word of God that tells us to observe or celebrate any given day of the week, nor the birth, and crucifixion/resurrection, of our Lord and Savior. The Sabbath is a Hebrew day: it begins on Friday at sundown, and ends on Saturday at sundown. The feast and days of Israel were fulfilled by the Lord, as He stated to the pharisees:

At that time Jesus went through the grainfields on the Sabbath, and His disciples became hungry and began to pick the heads of grain and eat. 2 But when the Pharisees saw this, they said to Him, “Look, Your disciples do what is not lawful to do on a Sabbath.” 3 But He said to them, “Have you not read what David did when he became hungry, he and his companions, 4 how he entered the house of God, and they ate the consecrated bread, which was not lawful for him to eat nor for those with him, but for the priests alone? 5 “Or have you not read in the Law, that on the Sabbath the priests in the temple break the Sabbath and are innocent? 6 “But I say to you that something greater than the temple is here. 7 “But if you had known what this means, ‘I DESIRE COMPASSION, AND NOT A SACRIFICE,’ you would not have condemned the innocent.

8 “For the Son of Man is Lord of the Sabbath.” (Matthew 12)

If our Lord and Savior fulfilled the days and feasts of Israel, including the Sabbath, then why do we, as new creations in Christ, persist in keeping ourselves under the bondage of these mere shadows which the Lord came to fulfill?

Therefore NO ONE is to act as your judge in regard to food or drink or in respect to a festival or a new moon OR A SABBATH DAY— 17 things which are A MERE SHADOW of what is to come; but the substance belongs to Christ. 18 Let no one keep defrauding you of your prize by delighting in self-abasement and the worship of the angels, taking his stand on visions he has seen, inflated without cause by his fleshly mind, 19 and not holding fast to the head, from whom the entire body, being supplied and held together by the joints and ligaments, grows with a growth which is from God.

20 If you have died with Christ to the elementary principles of the world, why, as if you were living in the world, do you submit yourself to decrees, such as, 21 “Do not handle, do not taste, do not touch!” (Colossians 2)

Every day should be a Sabbath rest to us, if we are a new creation, and resting in our Lord:

Those who desire to make a good showing in the flesh (pharisaic: self obsessed) try to compel you to be circumcised, simply so that they will not be persecuted for the cross of Christ. 13 For those who are circumcised do not even keep the Law themselves, but they desire to have you circumcised so that they may boast in your flesh. 14 But may it never be that I would boast, except in the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ, through which the world has been crucified to me, and I to the world. 15 For neither is circumcision anything, nor uncircumcision, but A NEW CREATION. (Galatians 6)

Sadly, the truth and Life of our Lord and Savior, in America (and throughout the world), today, has been reduced to nothing more than a “religious” means to a corrupt political and societal end. Most American conservative religionists, like Mr. Beck, believe they have no need for the Lord in their life, beyond, of course, attending “church” on Sunday, and paying their “religious membership” dues (tithing). The American conservative religionists’ god is their country, their political affiliation, their career, their family (“values”), their house, and their new car, purchased every two to five years:

Brethren, join in following my example, and observe those who walk according to the pattern you have in us. 18 For many walk, of whom I often told you, and now tell you even weeping, that THEY ARE ENEMIES OF THE CROSS OF CHRIST, 19 WHOSE END IS DESTRUCTION, WHOSE GOD IS THEIR APPETITE, and whose glory is in their shame, WHO SET THEIR MINDS ON EARTHLY THINGS. 20 For our citizenship is in heaven, from which also we eagerly wait for a Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ; 21 who will transform the body of our humble state into conformity with the body of His glory, by the exertion of the power that He has even to subject all things to Himself. (Philippians 3)

So, for those of us who truly love and seek the Lord, we might want to reconsider, the next time we listen to men like Mr. Beck, and the like, what ROCK we’re going to stand on and support. We might want to pledge our allegiance, the next time, to the only One Who truly is entitled, our Lord and Savior.

Here is just one more example of the deluding influence the Lord has sent to confound the apostate nominal “church” (Christendom).

Religious leaders worry that Obama’s faith council is for show

A year ago, President Obama thrilled many religious Americans and worried some secular supporters by announcing that he would not only keep the faith-based infrastructure President Bush had constructed across the government but would expand it, adding a marquee council of faith leaders to advise him.

But as the council prepares to end its first term and issue its report, some faith leaders across the ideological spectrum — including some Obama allies — say the operation may be more about window dressing than results.

Critics say that the faith-based office isn’t enough of a priority at the White House and that faith leaders who were consulted regularly during the campaign are now simply copied on pro-forma e-mails. They complain that Obama is no longer using the faith language that he employed as a candidate to frame his policy goals, and that before the new faith council convened, some of the most controversial questions, including religious hiring and abortion, were taken off the table.

“We’re wondering if religiously driven voices really have a voice at the table,” said David Gushee, an evangelical ethicist who has been in regular contact with Obama’s team since the presidential campaign. And whether “gatekeepers around the president are thinking he has more important constituencies to pay attention to.” (emphasis added)

{Note: What in heaven’s name is an “Evangelical ethicist“? Where do we see the office or gift of “evangelical ethics” in scripture? Where can we even find the word “ethics” in the word of God? What a mess this nominal “church” religiosity is! What an apostate mockery of our Lord and His Truth!}

Hmm… let’s see, Obama supports “gay rights” and abortions (“a woman’s right to choose”), so why would anyone, in particular, those who believe in and seek the Lord, trust him to follow up on, in earnest, so-called “faith based” programs? Obama is the leader of the Darwinian/atheist left (the democratic party); shouldn’t this tell us something about his political and so-called “religious” leanings?

I believe an even more pertinent, and important, question is this one: why are we, if we truly are believers and seekers of Christ’s soon-coming Kingdom of the Heavens, so concerned about temporal and meaningless government programs; which will always fail, since they are devoid of the Power and Truth of our Lord and Savior?

What are “faith-based” programs anyway? Are they Divinely-inspired programs led by the Spirit of God, or are they “religious”-man inspired, and administered, programs? My guess is the latter, since these are the less-than-Spiritually inspired works of the Bush administration.

We might want to, once again, remember this warning from our Lord:

“Not everyone who says to Me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, but HE WHO DOES THE WILL of My Father who is in heaven will enter. 22 “Many will say to Me on that day, ‘Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in Your name, and in Your name cast out demons, and in Your name perform many miracles?’ 23 “And then I will declare to them, ‘I never knew you; DEPART FROM ME, YOU WHO PRACTICE LAWLESSNESS.’ (Matthew 7)

Conservative, Political-Religiosity: Bringing Shame on Our Lord!

{Note: What I’m attempting to communicate in the following post is not a condemnation of everyone who goes to “church” and/or holds to conservative “values”: I’m not condemning anyone. The people I refer to as conservative religionists are those who, according with my experience, love this country/government, democracy and capitalism more than their Creator. And yet they preach the commandments of God, without Spiritual knowledge or discernment, while, at the same time, breaking those same commandments, especially when it comes to idolatrous behavior, and an unloving spirit. These conservative religionists are either completely Lacking in Spiritual discernment of the Lord’s truth or “religious” charlatans and hypocrites!}

As I’ve stated before, I have nothing invested in this world-system any longer, including this government and its politics. I am not a liberal or conservative, nor am I a democrat or republican: it would have made little difference to me if McCain had won the presidency, since both he and Obama are, in my estimation, part of the problem with this world, not the solution. The Lord, when He comes again, in power and glory, is the only solution to the overwhelming issues that face all of us, and, thus, because of our unbelief and apostasy, these issues will never be resolved in this age.

I am always amazed at the blinded persistence of American liberals and conservatives, when it comes to fighting for their political/”religious” ideologies: they are relentless rebels (without a clue) who chase after a “dream” (an American, manipulative pipe dream) that doesn’t exist. It seems that the nature of the unregenerate and conservative religionists, alike, is to keep pursuing the same old, man-made solutions (political activism, attending “church”, “playing the game”) to man’s immense problems, over and over again, and without ever discerning that the problems they face cannot be solved by man. Thus, these unregenerate and conservative religionists are, when it comes to their political/’religious” ideologies and dogmas, suffering from a type of insanity (according to Einstein).

And just as they did not see fit to acknowledge God ANY LONGER, God gave them over to A DEPRAVED MIND, to do those things which are not proper, being filled with all unrighteousness, wickedness, greed, evil; full of envy, murder, strife, deceit, malice; they are gossips, slanderers, haters of God, insolent, arrogant, boastful, inventors of evil, disobedient to parents, without understanding, untrustworthy, unloving, unmerciful; and although they know the ordinance of God, that those who practice such things are worthy of death, they not only do the same, but also give hearty approval to those who practice them. (Romans 1: 28-32)

I am a stranger and exile here, and I’m longing for a country of my own, a heavenly one. However, after hearing all the hatred expressed by the “Christian” right, over the past eight months, and after receiving hate-filled email, like the one below, I sense I must write what lies so heavy on my heart and mind. I must speak out against the conservative religionists’ hypocrisy, idolatry, and hatred of others, which is based primarily on skin color / first, last and middle names / and political ideology: all of which make a mockery of the Lord, His Truth, and His Love:

For in the case of those who have once been enlightened (true enlightenment) and have tasted of the heavenly gift and have been made partakers of the Holy Spirit, and have tasted the good word of God and the powers of the age to come, and then have fallen away, it is impossible to renew them again to repentance, SINCE THEY CRUCIFY TO THEMSELVES THE SON OF GOD AND PUT HIM TO OPEN SHAME. For ground that drinks the rain which often falls on it and brings forth vegetation useful to those for whose sake it is also tilled, receives a blessing from God; but if it yields thorns and thistles, it is worthless and close to being cursed, AND IT ENDS UP BEING BURNED. (Hebrews 6: 4-9)

This is why I sense I must speak out, because these apostate and hypocritical conservative religionists are “crucifying to themselves the Son of God and putting Him to open shame.” If these people were unregenerate atheists and agnostics, then I wouldn’t be paying any attention to this issue at all, since the unregenerate make no claims of belief in God, and are, therefore, Spiritually blind and dead: but at least they’re honest, for the most part, about what they believe to be true.

The following quote, in my estimation, sums up the unbalanced, patriotic (idol worship) nature and state of the “Christian” right.

“I hate Obama more and more every day. Everything that comes out of his filthy Commie mouth makes me want to scream.”

The "Christian" Right!

The evidence of this type of ungodly nature and condition can be observed almost every night on the evening news (liberal and conservative), as these conservative religionists go about breaking every commandment of God: the very same commandments they attempt to enforce on the unregenerate; which is, of course, the very definition of hypocrisy.

But when the Pharisees heard that Jesus had silenced the Sadducees, they gathered themselves together. One of them, a lawyer, asked Him a question, testing Him, “Teacher, which is the great commandment in the Law?” And He said to him, “ ‘YOU SHALL LOVE THE LORD YOUR GOD WITH ALL YOUR HEART, AND WITH ALL YOUR SOUL, AND WITH ALL YOUR MIND.’ “This is the great and foremost commandment. “The second is like it, ‘YOU SHALL LOVE YOUR NEIGHBOR AS YOURSELF.’ “On these two commandments depend the whole Law and the Prophets.” (Matthew 22: 34-40)

Love your God, first and foremost, and love your neighbor as you do yourself. These are the commandments the “Christian” right preaches to others, but seem incapable of keeping themselves.

“MAXIMIZE LIBERTY, MINIMIZE GOVERNMENT”

The “Christian” right claims to want less government and more Liberty, and yet, over the last eight years, they never seemed to be all that concerned with the despotic intrusion on their civil liberties brought about by the (“homeland security”) policies of the Bush (Cheney) administration: increased security and scrutiny of American passengers at airports, wire-tapping Americans without a court order, internet invasions of privacy = “The Patriot Act”. Where was the “Christian” rights’ outrage for all of this “maximized”, intrusive (fascist) government, as Bush played the “Big Brother”? Perhaps conservative religionists like the name Bush (or Cheney) better than Obama, or just maybe they like the color of Bush’s skin better?

Could it also be that conservative religionists have simply been brainwashed (over the years), educationally, in the workplace, and by the republican party (owned, “lock, stock and barrel”, by the filthy-rich 1%), just as the Godless, for the most part, left has been brainwashed by the democrats (the same filthy-rich 1%)? Could it possibly be that the filthy-rich 1%, on both sides, are playing the working middle-class liberals & conservatives against each other: the greed-driven powerful ends playing (manipulating, politically) the powerless middle (working class) against itself, and for the sole purpose of achieving complete control?

Conservative religionists claim they want less of the very government they so idolize and worship, and yet, when it comes to certain political issues, they, hypocritically, do a complete about-face. For instance, when it comes to educating their little patriots, conservative religionists seem to have no problem with a “maximized” government (“socialism”): a government which is constantly “minimizing” their “liberties”, when it comes to the education of their children. Conservative religionists rail against any evidence of “maximized” government, until, that is, it comes down to dealing with something they can’t handle, emotionally or intellectually, and then “maximized” government seems to be no problem at all for them.

"No Child Left" Out of the Pit!

Every step the government (federal and state) has taken, over the last century-plus, has been to reduce, or even relinquish, parental control over their children’s education and “values”, and, thus, further the cause of postmodern/Darwinian/atheism (the illegitimate child of deism and “the enlightenment”: removing the Lord from our schools and society (Madelyn Murray O’Hare: “Be gone prayer!”), “valuing diversity” (cultural/moral relativism: “Tommy Has Two Daddies” “There is no good or bad anything!” etc), creating little cogs (the “no-kid-left-behind”, indoctrinated “workers-of-the-future”) for the machinery of the “state”, and the filthy-rich 1% (the “new capitalists”: anti free-enterprise) who own and operate it. Sounds a little like 1917 Russia to me! Only, in this case, the hard-core “Christian” right (the “commie” haters) are supporting the Bolshevik’s (“new capitalists”) takeover, and without any comprehension whatsoever.

The “Christian” right cries, “No socialism,” and yet most of these conservative religionists seem to have no problem whatsoever with CORPORATE SOCIALISM: massive tax breaks for the corporations (the 1%), which amounts, in most cases, to paying no taxes at all; massive financial “bail-outs” of Chrysler and General Motors (not to mention the major banks and AIG), and with middle-class tax dollars that will never be recovered by the middle-class tax payer.

The conservative religionists claim to hate socialized (government controlled) health-care, but they don’t mind government controlled, and republican backed, flood insurance. The insurance industry is paid one billion dollars a year, by the government, to write flood insurance policies. These policies are not guaranteed by the insurance companies that were paid to write them, but, instead, are guaranteed by middle-class tax dollars! After costs are subtracted, these filthy-rich insurance companies get to divide up hundreds of millions of dollars, and with no liability or risk whatsoever. The risk and liability for national flood insurance is placed on the common tax payer! And most of the people covered with flood insurance are wealthy: and these wealthy individuals will, after a devastating and costly flood, continue to rebuild in the same flood zones. And why wouldn’t they, since their socialized flood-insurance will take care of all their needs, and at the expense of the middle-class conservative religionists who blindly support and worship the very (socialistic/capitalistic) system these wealthy individuals own and operate.

The money for this government-operated flood insurance, as with the corporate “bail-out” money, is taken from the working class individual to serve the state, and the wealthy and powerful individuals (1%) who control it. Wake up, conservative religionists, this is simply covert SOCIALISM (for the rich only) under the guise of free enterprise! But evidently insurance companies, houses and property of the wealthy few, as well as failing and corrupted corporations and banks, are more valuable to the republican party, the government, and conservative religionists, than the common tax-payer’s (working class) health and life.

Having written all of this “chasing after the wind”, I am not suggesting, by any stretch of the imagination, any kind of action against this corrupted and evil system, since the ruler of this age oversees it.

{The word of God prophesies of this kind of greed and power, this evil world system. So to suggest taking action against it would be, in reality, to fall into the same political pit as the blinded, apostate religionists!}

The filthy-rich 1%, being blinded by the god of this age, are merely the manipulated pawns (devout followers) of the enemy of God:

Finally, be strong in the Lord and in the strength of His might. Put on the full armor of God, so that you will be able to stand firm against the schemes of the devil. For OUR STRUGGLE IS NOT AGAINST FLESH AND BLOOD, but against the rulers, against the powers, against the world forces of this darkness, against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places. (Ephesians 6: 10-12)

As I said at the beginning of this post, I sense that I must speak out against the apostate religionists who worship this hypocritical political system and its lies, but solely for the purpose of changing the mindset and heart, if the Lord wills, of those believers who are truly seeking the Lord. My desire is for the Lord, through His Spirit, to lead them away from this system of the world and back to His way, Truth, and Life in (Spiritual) abundance:

Jesus said to him, “I am the way, and the truth, and the life; no one comes to the Father but through Me. (John 14: 6)

So Jesus said to them again, “Truly, truly, I say to you, I am the door of the sheep. “All who came before Me are thieves and robbers, but the sheep did not hear them. “I am the door; if anyone enters through Me, he will be saved, and will go in and out and find pasture. “The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I CAME THAT THEY MAY HAVE LIFE, AND HAVE IT ABUNDANTLY. (John 10: 7-11)

Do not love the world nor the things in the world. If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him. For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh and the lust of the eyes and the boastful pride of life, is not from the Father, but is from the world. THE WORLD IS PASSING AWAY, and also its lusts; but the one who does the will of God lives forever. (1 John 2: 15-17)

“Do not store up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moth and rust destroy, and where thieves break in and steal. “But store up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust destroys, and where thieves do not break in or steal; for WHERE YOUR TREASURE IS, THERE YOUR HEART WILL BE ALSO. (Matthew 6: 19-21)

I pray for my hate filled friend, and those entrapped like him, that he would come out from the midst of this ungodly, worldly corruption and into the Light and Truth of our Lord. I pray that all who read this would sense the need to turn from this deadness and seek first the Lord’s righteousness and Kingdom:

“For this reason I say to you, do not be worried about your life, as to what you will eat or what you will drink; nor for your body, as to what you will put on. Is not life more than food, and the body more than clothing? 26 “Look at the birds of the air, that they do not sow, nor reap nor gather into barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not worth much more than they? 27 “And who of you by being worried can add a single hour to his life? 28 “And why are you worried about clothing? Observe how the lilies of the field grow; they do not toil nor do they spin, 29 yet I say to you that not even Solomon in all his glory clothed himself like one of these. 30 “But if God so clothes the grass of the field, which is alive today and tomorrow is thrown into the furnace, WILL HE NOT MUCH MORE CLOTHE YOU? YOU OF LITTLE FAITH! “DO NOT WORRY THEN, saying, ‘WHAT WILL WE EAT?’ or ‘WHAT WILL WE DRINK?’ or ‘WHAT WILL WE WEAR FOR CLOTHING?’ “For the Gentiles eagerly seek all these things; for your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. “But SEEK FIRST HIS KINGDOM and HIS RIGHTEOUSNESS, AND ALL THESE THINGS WILL BE ADDED TO YOU.

Listen and believe the word of our Lord and Savior, through the power and discernment of His Spirit in you. Seek the Lord with all of your mind, heart and soul! Turn from the lies of this decaying world, and its leader, and live in the Light and Life of our Lord! Come out from them, and be cleansed and set free!

"I Am the Way…:" There Is No Other!

This is a quote I found on Beyond Church Walls.

Stanislav Mishin, a blogger and columnist for the Russian newspaper Pravda recently wrote a very sobering article regarding “America’s decent into Marxism”…

“Then their faith in God was destroyed, until their churches, all tens of thousands of different “branches and denominations” were for the most part little more than Sunday circuses and their televangelists and top protestant mega preachers were more than happy to sell out their souls and flocks to be on the “winning” side of one pseudo Marxist politician or another. Their flocks may complain, but when explained that they would be on the “winning” side, their flocks were ever so quick to reject Christ in hopes for earthly power.”

It’s a really sad day for the US institutional church (Christendom), when an atheist/communist can see, to a great extent, what many American church goers and their (un-scriptural) denominational hierarchies (clergy, church boards etc) can’t or won’t.

This Russian journalist, of course, is merely making a political statement here. And it is directed only towards the United States and its institutionalized and politicized religiosity. If he had wanted to be fair, he would have mentioned world wide Christendom, since the entire “church,” as it is called throughout the world, is guilty of this apostasy also!

What this atheist described is, sadly to say, not totally false. And if an atheist can see this religious hypocrisy (apostasy: the falling or turning away of believers), then there must be something horribly wrong with the religious institution that exhibits it. Didn’t Jesus and the apostles warn of false teachers and prophets arising in the last days?

“Beware of the false prophets, who come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly are ravenous wolves. “You will know them by their fruits. Grapes are not gathered from thorn bushes nor figs from thistles, are they? “So every good tree bears good fruit, but the bad tree bears bad fruit. “A good tree cannot produce bad fruit, nor can a bad tree produce good fruit. “Every tree that does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire. “So then, you will know them by their fruits. (Matthew 7: 15-20)

But false prophets also arose among the people, just as there will also be false teachers among you, who will secretly introduce destructive heresies, even denying the Master who bought them, bringing swift destruction upon themselves. (2 Peter 2: 1)

Beloved, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits to see whether they are from God, because many false prophets have gone out into the world. (1 John 4: 1)

Sounds to me Like the Lord, Peter and John are warning us to be critical, through our spirit’s leading, of those who profess to be of God: whether they be an individual, minister, evangelist, pastor, priest or pope!

{Without doubt, this includes anything I say or write also! I am truly seeking the Lord, but that doesn’t mean I’m incapable of making a mistake or even being deceived at points. We must always test the spirits, just as we have been commanded to do. In fact, this is what I am trying to exhort everyone to do here! The Lord (the Logos: Word), when it comes to spiritual matters, is our only authority!}

There is a better way to experience the Lord than the traditions, or religiosity, of man (Christendom: “Churchianity”). The better way is the Body of Christ (the true church), as described by the writers of the new testament.

Jesus said emphatically,

“I am the way, and the truth, and the life; no one comes to the Father but through Me.” (John 14: 6)

The Apostle Paul stated,

Do not be bound together with unbelievers; for what partnership have righteousness and lawlessness, or what fellowship has light with darkness?

Paul warned the Body of Christ about being divided (“factions:” denominations etc):

Therefore I, the prisoner of the Lord, implore you to walk in a manner worthy of the calling with which you have been called, with all humility and gentleness, with patience, showing tolerance for one another in love, being diligent to preserve the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace. There is one body and one Spirit, just as also you were called in one hope of your calling; one Lord, one faith, one baptism, one God and Father of all who is over all and through all and in all. (Ephesians 4: 1-6)

Paul also exhorted,

we are no longer to be children, tossed here and there by waves and carried about by every wind of doctrine, by the trickery of men, by craftiness in deceitful scheming; but speaking the truth in love, we are to grow up in all aspects into Him who is the head, even Christ, from whom the whole body, being fitted and held together by what every joint supplies, according to the proper working of each individual part, causes the growth of the body for the building up of itself in love. (Ephesians 4: 14-16)

Note that Jesus said, “I am the way, truth and life…” He didn’t say the Baptists, Catholics or Presbyterians (or any other denominations, or “factions”) were a replacement for Him on the earth. In fact, Jesus commanded his disciples,

“But do not be called Rabbi; for One is your Teacher, and you are all brothers. “Do not call anyone on earth your father; for One is your Father, He who is in heaven. “Do not be called leaders; for One is your Leader, that is, Christ. “But the greatest among you shall be your servant. “Whoever exalts himself shall be humbled; and whoever humbles himself shall be exalted. (Matthew 23: 8-12)

How does this verse fit with the pomp and circumstance and world wide admiration (idolatry) that follows the pope and other wealthy and powerful church leaders? Isn’t this how the pagan leaders of this fallen and corrupt world carry themselves?

The Apostle Paul makes it clear that the Body of Christ is not to be “yoked,” or actively involved, with the unbeliever and his worldly ways, needs and desires: politics, social issues, money making schemes etc.

Christendom is totally involved in the secular cares of this world and always has been: just look at the wealth and political prominence of Catholicism and the United Methodist Church, as just two examples. How does this religious and worldly economic and political power reflect the teachings and life of our Lord and Savior?

Also note that Paul describes a Body of Christ that is knit together and functions as one with Christ as its head! These verses (there are many more) in no way describe the institutional church (Christendom) whose extravagant buildings sit on almost every street corner in the United States and the rest of the world. Christendom is not the Body of Christ, nor does it function as the Body of Christ! Christendom (“church”), as opposed to “growing up in all aspects into Him who is the head, even Christ, from whom the whole body, being fitted and held together by what every joint supplies, according to the proper working of each individual part (sons and daughters of God), causes the growth of the body for the building up of itself in love,” divides believers into doctrinal and dogmatic factions, so there can be no real “walk (ing) in a manner worthy of the calling with which you (we) have been called, with all humility and gentleness, with patience, showing tolerance for one another in love, being diligent to preserve the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace.”

Christ is our only way, our only truth and our only life! Until we discern this truth, and come out from the deadness of Christendom, and seek the Lord with all of our strength, mind and heart, we, most likely, will remain in a form of spiritual immaturity (arrested development). And the effects of this immaturity will impact our lives now and in the age to come, as the word of God warns.

I’ll close with some scriptures that speak of spiritual maturity and immaturity:

For all who are being led by the Spirit of God, these are sons of God (Romans 8: 14)

And I, brethren, could not speak to you as to spiritual men, but as to men of flesh, as to infants in Christ. I gave you milk to drink, not solid food; for you were not yet able to receive it. Indeed, even now you are not yet able, for you are still fleshly. For since there is jealousy and strife among you, are you not fleshly, and are you not walking like mere men? (1 Corinthians 3: 1-3)

Therefore I urge you, brethren, by the mercies of God, to present your bodies a living and holy sacrifice, acceptable to God, which is your spiritual service of worship. And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you may prove what the will of God is, that which is good and acceptable and perfect. (Romans 12: 1-2)

“Behold, I am coming quickly, and My reward is with Me, to render to every man (the Bema judgment: believers judgment) according to what he has done. “I am the Alpha and the Omega, the first and the last, the beginning and the end.”

Blessed are those who wash their robes, so that they may have the right to the tree of life, and may enter by the gates into the city (New Jerusalem). (Revelation 22: 12-14)

Another Reason to Home-School!

The apostle, Paul, said to Timothy,

Instruct those who are rich in this present world not to be conceited or to fix their hope on the uncertainty of riches, but on God, who richly supplies us with all things to enjoy. Instruct them to do good, to be rich in good works, to be generous and ready to share, storing up for themselves the treasure of a good foundation for the future, so that they may take hold of that which is life indeed.

O Timothy, guard what has been entrusted to you, avoiding worldly and empty chatter and the opposing arguments of what is falsely called “knowledge”— which some have professed and thus gone astray from the faith.

Grace be with you. (1 Timothy 6: 17-21)

As usual, there seems to be a different agenda among the liberals in Washington for attaining knowledge and wisdom.

Educational Snow Flakes

Up north, it snows enough that schools can’t just close every time a few flakes fall. But I live in Virginia, just outside Washington, DC, and it doesn’t snow that much here.

Weeks ago it snowed eight inches, a lot for us. The schools in my county — and throughout the region — closed.

But in Washington, DC, the schools stayed open. And controversy ensued.

Was opening the schools unsafe? Was it a waste of money, since only a small percentage of students and teachers showed up? Or was a school day too valuable to lose?

For me, that’s all beside the point. I think a day having fun in the snow is more valuable than a yet another day in class.

This came to mind again when I listened to President Obama’s recent speech about public education. Obama wants our kids to attend school more days and longer hours. Apparently, children in South Korea go to school more and, apparently, score better on tests.

Not only am I skeptical about such comparisons, and those tests, I’m totally uninterested in educating my kids to best the Russians or the Germans or the Japanese or anybody else.

*To me, education is all about encouraging my kids to love learning, and then facilitating their very personal pursuit of their own dreams. It’s not an international competition demanding ever-more hours of drudgery.

So, let it snow. (emphasis added)

Here it is:

I would add to this, one thing: my facilitating the learning of my child must be accompanied, first and foremost, through the leading of the Spirit of God. Apart from Him, I can do nothing!

If parents don’t want their children to become a mere cog in the capitalist machinery, then, perhaps, homeschooling is the way to raise up a child!

Abortion Foes Recall Lincoln’s Slavery Stand

The inauguration of a president who supports abortion rights fired up the annual March for Life yesterday, with activists warning of new, more liberal legislation and urging President Obama to view abortion as a civil-rights issue akin to slavery.

Signs read: “Yes we can — eliminate abortion.” One speaker took the microphone and called for anti-abortion “community organizers,” a job the president held in Chicago. Another taunted Obama with references to one of his heroes.

Looking east at the thousands of marchers gathered from Fourth to Seventh streets on the Mall, Rep. Trent Franks (R-Ariz.) said Obama needed to be reminded “that the reason we built that monument to president Abraham Lincoln is because he saw the humanity in a slave that the Supreme Court said was not human.” Nothing could make Obama less like Lincoln than “forgetting that the unborn are also little children of God,” he added.

Police provided no estimate for the size of the crowd gathered on the 36th anniversary of the Supreme Court ruling Roe v. Wade. But anti-abortion leaders said they sensed a new intensity because of Obama and the new, more heavily Democratic Congress.

As King David sang, once again, thousands of years ago,

For You formed my inward parts;

The quote below, from a Pew Forum article, discusses the two diametrically opposed “Christian” doctrines of the Prosperity Gospel and Liberation Theology.

Far more attractive to poor people, who are a majority of its adherents, is the “prosperity gospel,” a version of Christianity asserting that material benefits will come to those who have faith, live a morally upright life and, not so incidentally, give money to the church. Broadly speaking, this is what Max Weber called the Protestant Ethic, but with much less emphasis on self-denial and more on hard work, planning for the future, family loyalty and educating one’s children…

Virtually all outside commentary on the prosperity gospel, both by theologians and by people in the lay media, has been very negative, holding that it is a distortion of Christianity pushed by rogue preachers who enrich themselves by exploiting the poor. There is some validity to these criticisms. It is certainly true that Christianity is not a recipe for acquiring wealth. But in that respect the prosperity gospel — usually seen as being on the Christian right — closely resembles the “liberation theology” of the Christian left, except that the latter’s enrichment program is collective rather than individual. Liberation theology defined Christianity as essentially being a struggle of poor oppressed people against capitalism and imperialism. And while it is obvious that some preachers of the prosperity gospel are simply motivated by self-interest, one must suppose that, given human nature, some left-leaning clergy are too.

In my estimation, neither of these religiously-humanistic and self involved ideologies or theologies express any of the life and truth which Jesus taught and exhibited. Yet, they are a driving force, religiously, for millions of believers around the world. God, is not a magic genie, nor does he hold to any man-made government, economic system or human ideology that claims to represent His truth: “Man’s ways are not God’s ways” and “the thoughts of man are foolishness to God.”

Paul, said to Timothy, “But realize this, that in the last days difficult times will come…” Paul, also said, “For men will be lovers of self, lovers of money, boastful, arrogant…holding to a form of godliness, although they have denied its power; Avoid such men as these.” 2 Timothy 3: 1-5

Below, is an article which quotes a prayer given by a minister of God.

“`There are millions of people around this world praying to their god – whether it`s Hindu, Buddha, Allah – that his [McCain`s] opponent wins, for a variety of reasons,` said Arnold Conrad, former pastor of Grave Evangelical Free Church. `And Lord, I pray that you would guard your own reputation because they`re going to think that their god is bigger than you if that happens. So I pray that you will step forward and honor your own name in all that happens between now and Election Day.`”

This invocation before a John McCain appearance in Davenport, Iowa is disturbing on so many levels.

The notion of a god who has a partisan stake in American politics is laughable, but let`s leave that essay for another day.

The idea of a minister asking the Almighty to bless a McCain campaign rally is absurd. No deity worth his or her salt would bless an event where the main speaker, McCain, incites hatred, and the crowd often responds with shouts of “terrorist” and “kill him.” That`s like asking god to bless a dogfight or an orgy.

The preacher is implying that Obama supporters pray to the wrong god (Allah and Buddha), and that real Americans pray to Jesus. His prayer is an insult to every Christian, Muslim, Jew, and atheist who believes in the junior senator from Illinois. Obama admirers want him to win for a “variety of reasons”, proclaims the minister. The implication is that followers of Obama have nefarious reasons for wanting him to win, like hoping he will establish an Islamic state in America?

Where is the faith in God’s sovereignty in this prayer? What is the purpose of this man’s prayer to God? Is this prayer stated in love and acceptance of all God’s children, or is this prayer simply an arrogant, worldly and faithless, political statement, which has the desires of man, as opposed to God’s, in mind? We can serve only one God, and He is not a political entity!

Mr. Conrad, seems to have his mind set on the issues of man, as opposed to God. He has a form of godliness and yet denies the power and sovereignty of God. What then, according to scripture, should be our response to Mr. Conrad’s prayer?
